Saturday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I am having a nice cozy morning, just relaxing.

I am going to Meijer and JCPenney.  I have a $10 coupon for JCPenney.  I will also workout today.  I have been sore the last few days but today I feel great so more weight lifting.  Then some house cleaning and laundry.  That will be it for me. 

At work it was nice yesterday because the boss and the office tattletale were out.  Ahhhh...how nice it is.  I am hoping it will be different at my new job.  My new boss is a man, I find it's a lot easier dealing with men.  They don't bicker, tattle, gossip....well not as much as women do any way.  As far the work I will do it will be basically the same so  will be bored....because accounting is boring.

'Morning. Watering the veggies right now before it gets hot. Then to move onto the flowers. Somewhere along the line I will get the parkway watered also. We had new sod put in last year and do not want to loose it. In a short while we are going to drive out to St Charles and first go to the Colonial Cafe for Bfast and then to the library out there. The U of I Extension is having a master gardener there to speak to anyone about any questions they might have in their garden. After that we are going to Blue Goose grocery store out there and shop. might also be time for lunch. They BBQ on the patio at the store and fix their own homemade sausage.

Need to move and get outside with a hose in the front of the house. Everyone have a "fabuloso day"!

On ABC news last night there was a great segment on protein needs. You can either watch the video of the news segment or just read the text. I will post a seperate thread with the link and the written text.

I love Colonial Cafe...there's one in Aurora.  I haven't gone there since before the surgery but it was great for breakfast or ice cream!!!

Yes it is a great place and we have left over Bfast for tomorrow.

Since it's such a pretty day here in PA, I've got all my laundry done and am off to the Goodwill stores around the area to find some bargains.  My clothes are beginning to fall off of me, so it's time to bag them up and go get some new ones for the next couple of months.  I had a pair of capri's on yesterday at work that kept spinning around my waist....OMG.....I was so tickled.

When my clothes started to fall off me and I was still wearing them to work.  I used to use binder clips to hold my pants up...hahahaha!!!!

 Hello Everyone

it's going to be a nice hot day today... I am off soda and just drinking water and crystal light wooohooo for me all to well it was a hard night of with draws from the soda habbit even if it was caffeinfree
I had allot of odd moods just glad it stopped... I'm getting everything in order for the BIG DATE....
and having a hard time getting threw to my oldest son out in FL he is 23 and to busy with his life it bugs me.. I have not heard anything from him for over a month...left lots of MSGs for him to call me back UGH why does a mother think of all the bad things when her kids don't call...I will keep praying for a call from him...

I found someone to take my niece for the 4 days when I am in the hospital so my husband don't have to deal with any kids his are gone that week to there mothers for a visit...

and the 2 older sons will take care of the pets....
now the only thing left is to get my clear liquids together for my 5 days any good drinks out there for the clear liquids diet I am thinking about the Isopure from GNC what do you ppl think?
I am going to Wal-Mart to get my juice have my SF pops wooohooo YUM.......

Well all have a GREAT Saturday will enjoy my pool for the after Noon Nancy and Lisa we will have to do Coffee sometime we live close by each other and anyone else that would like to do the morning coffee...as I say CHOW for Nowwwwwwww

Good morning my fellow ILians

I had to reschedule my 2 appts I had for Thursday.  I will go to my 1st dietician appt on the 18th of this month n my 1st support group that morning too.  Then my psych appt is Aug 11th but Monday I am goin to call them n tell them if they have any cancelish on a Tuesday I would like to have it.  I have my 3 wk visit with my surgeon on the 21st to see if I have lost any weight on my liquid protein n 1 lean meal diet.  I have been doing good on it so far.  I can't wait to get on the loser bench with you all.  

 Good Afternoon Everyone!

I was MIA yesterday.  Spent most of Thursday night and Friday on the phone.    My least favorite thing, computer voice answering systems and overseas help centers.  GRRRRR!!!  I was trying to get a wireless router installed.  Would someone PLEASE tell me why manufacturers give you the WRONG instructions on how to install their products?????    Then when you call tech support you are shipped overseas where English is not the native language and the customer service reps only speak pigeon English.    After a total of about 15 hours on the phone I finally got the router talking to my modem.  At least that is done!  No plans for today but catching up on the computer.  

Crystal, have fun shopping!  Like you, I prefer working with men.  For some reason they are easier to deal with on the daily basis.  

Christine, have a good time at your shopping ventures and the Extension event.  Our master gardner program was one of the best programs that we ever implemented.  

Sandy, kids just dont get it until they have kids of their own or start to worry about their parents.  It sure can be frustrating.  A good friend was recently complaining about this.  She started leaving daily text messages until he answered.  

Vickie, keep plugging along.  Your day is coming.  It is hard when you dont have transportation and have to rely on others.  Hang in there!

oh my I love to shop and I am sure there is going to be allot of sales soon for them to get ready for school stuff....oh I so am happy with my Garden  I love veggies....and my Wisconsin Cheese...
well I started on my vitamins today and it seems to be staying down I don't like the taste of any vitamins never have but if its going to help me then so be it...suck it up and just do it...
I got some more SF popsicles for only a 1.99 today thats the best when they are on sale...well everyone time to work out in da poollllllll...
