Thursday Roll Call
Revision on 04/19/13
Sandy, by this time next year, you will be wondering why you waited so long to have your RnY. I thank God constantly that I was smart enought to get help. These next couple of weeks will go so fast, then you will be on the losers bench.
Hugs,
LISA

Tell you the truth I never thought about having it until my one doctor had said if I don't have it I am going to die I looked at him with a shocked look and he rolled back in his chair he thought I was going to hit him... I think I took a deep breath and said really I know I am going to die someday but so young and told him what should I be doing to change my health...mind you I was a CNA for many years but never seen myself as morbid or didn't want to admit to it...he said my blood test said I was very sick and went threw everything with my white count very low red blood cells very high he came up with 3 health issues with me and I came home and cried and called my PCP and went back to her and said I needed to do this for myself and to stand strong at this I will fill you in sometime the rest Lisa* and Thank You everyone once again...I think when my PCP nurse told me my insurance wouldnt cover in so many words handed me a packet and said they don't deal with this and good luck your on your own I almost fell on the floor...because they were very rude to me and I told them wait and see...

Good evening Illinois friends,
Sandy - congrats on getting the surgery date. I had the rny on 12/8/10. I think the worse part was the pre-surgery diet. Would I do it again? In a heart beat!! I am so close to the 100lbs lost, I was able to put on a 14 yesterday. Prior to surgery I was wearing a 30/32 jean. My shirts were a 3x (if I was true to myself) and now I can wear a large. This will be the best b-day gift you will give to yourself and your family. They will have you around along time!!![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/applause.gif)
Today I met up with an old friend of mine. We had lunch at Mimi's Cafe. My friend told me that my former teaching assistant is now a 1st grade teacher. I found out she credits being with me to make her decide to teach. Wow what an honor.
Not much going on here. I am 4 laps away from swimming a half mile. I do my swimming after all my other workouts, so I am taking it slower. I should be at the half mile mark on Tuesday. Of course the key will be to continue these work outs when I get home.
Well take care all. Have fun with the garage sales, trips and being with families.
Debbie
