Tuesday Roll Call
Hello friends!!
I have been MIA for a few days. Just didnt have a whole lot to post. I was giving Doxepin, a sleep medicatin given to me a few months back, another try. Well it worked wonderful one night but it made me super groggy all day. So the next night I halved the dose, it didnt help. But made me groggy neverthess. Now i remember why i stopped taking it in the first place.
So the saga of sleep issues continues ..........
I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend. I spent mines sleeping and relaxing..thanks to Doxepin. I didnt workout but I am gonna get back on track today. In fact I will be leaving soon.

Hello everyone
I can't believe how fast three days can fly. I did as I said I would and did nothing all day yesterday and I ate one of those small Ben & Jerry's ice creams....it was peanut butter world...yummy.
So now here I am at work eating my breakfast thinking about how I might not have to work all this overtime at my new job. How nice it will be to start work at 8, instead of 6am (maybe I can workout in the morning too). How nice it will be that I will live so close to work. No more commuting 20 miles (it will save me money on gas that's for sure) and think of how nice it will be not having to drive all that way in the Winter. I am loving the idea of my new job. I have to call him today and officially accept the offer (he wanted me to think about it over the weekend) and I also have a bunch of questions. I will probably take Friday off to drive down there and take the drug test, sign some paper work and look around at apartments. Amanda is still on her honeymoon so I won't be able to see her.
Speaking of Amanda I can't wait to see pictures and hear about how wonderful her vacation was. She went to Puerto Rico...but she went to an island of the island of Puerto Rico. It's not touristy or crowded and very low key. But I do miss hearing from her.

It is looking to be another nice day. I for one am not complaining. The summer is to fleeing. It does seem like that when the 4th is over, summer starts whining down. Time to start thinking back to school, or, in my case, back to work. The stores are already starting thier summer clearance sales.
My 4th was very quiet. Hubert worked until 3, then came home and vegged. I spent a couple od hours on my front porch, reading.
One of my favorite summer pastimes, besides swimming. How was your day?
Today, I need to get some scripts renewed, and we have a eye dr. appointment at 3. I need to get back to the basement and get busy again. All in all, a normal "Monday".

Morning!
This morning I have to put together my training plan for a special project I'm working on. Then I will hit the pool for a while and come back and work some more. I love working from hom since my hours are super flexible. I still put in my time, but it's on my time:)
Seeing my family was great yesterday. Until I decided to eat a small rice krispie treat. Of course it had way too much sugar and caused me to be sick. But I had to try it:( Didn't see any fireworks-didn't feel like going since the bugs were terrible!

I cant believe I forgot to tell you all about his but I FINALLY GOT A PART TIME JOB
This has been the longest and most frustrating job search of my life ! I have been searching since Feb.
The job isnt anything special. Just a Fuel Station Attendant at Dominicks in Romeoville. It doesnt pay much either. But I really dont care. I need extra money so bad that I am overjoyed at getting this job. A few hundred dollars extra per month will be very helpful.
What sucks though is that I have to pay union dues of 32 buck per month. I guess its the price of having the job in a tough job market. :(

CONGRATULATIONS CRYSTAL!!!!! I am very excited for you and this new chapter in your life!
Our weekend went well. We had the granddaughter Friday and Saturday nights. Friday night, we took her bowling then she swam with some new Rock City friends when we got home.
Saturday, we went to Madison for the best ice cream on the planet (Chocolate Shoppe Ice Cream) and she had her first "big girl" cone. I love going there with the family. They all order different things and I order a spoon. I try about a bite of each and I am done!
After Chocolate Shoppe, we went to Vitense Golfland and had a BLAST! They have a new activity called "Water Wars" whci is water balloons and we got drenched! Cooled us off nicely. They have 3 18 hole courses and they are "interactive"......you have to go down slides and they have lots of water and misters. Very fun!
We went home, grilled out with the neighbors and my BIL came out with BIG fireworks. They set them off up at the park, on the sandy ball diamond and we had a great show.
Sunday morning, we had to go up for a couple hours and clean up that mess. Later in the afternoon we went to a favorite restaurant in Monroe.
Yesterday.....more gilling and hanging with the neighbors.
Now, back to reality.
As far as the 23rd goes, I would LOVE to get together, but......that is the day after Liv gets back from NC and also "A Day in Rock City". I am not involved in the "Day" anymore, but Eileen is coming out to do faces and my house is usually "home base". Not sure if any of you would care to make the trip? If not, maybe I will sneak away for the get together, depending on what time it is........

Good Morning Everyone!
It is already warm out there! But the sun is shining so I am not complaining! Much better than rain. Yesterday I got some cleaning done and tried my new steam mop on my kitchen floor. Loved it! I could not believe how much gunk it got up! Eww!
Today I have a dentist appointment and PT but nothing else planned. I have some bills to pay as well.
Steven, glad you had a nice 4th. Also, only 10 lbs to go!
Ahmer, good seeing you again. I am glad you are ok. I was getting worried there. Congrats on finding a part time job. I know in this economy every little bit helps. That is why I love my Saturday job! Crystal, you will love not having to commute! That is something I never want to do again! Also regular hours are bliss. You will have a life again! Lisa, it sounds like you are trying to have a busy day. Just dont overdo it. Jules, I am glad you got to spend time with your family yesterday. Enjoy your day and take advantage of those working hours. Dawn, glad you had a great weekend with your family. It is always hard to go back to reality. I bet Liv is counting the days! She must be really excited!
