I would really love it if we could get together before I move to CA. I know you have done this in the past, where did you go to meet? Who organized? What can I do to make this happen.

You all have made a HUGE impact on my life in the last 6 months and I would really love to put names and faces together. I will still be posting here, as you have all become friends to me!!!!!

What do you say? Who's in!?

The majority of our get togethers have been in someone's home or club house. There have been a couple that were held at restaurants. The last two were at my and then Lisa's house. When it is in someone's home it is more comfortable and we make it pot luck. Now, some of you newbies before you say no to the food part - we all still need to eat and we all agree to bring food that is healthy. The get togethers are organized by anyone that comes up with the idea or feels inclined to host it.

I cannot commit to hosting anything until I find out if we are to have a guest for a conference at Willow in early August and then (before or after) I am going to be down for a couple of weeks due to a small surgical procedure that I am opting to move up from the end of September to ASAP as I am tired of living with my situation.

I am willing to host it at my house in Woodstock. I know it's short notice but does July 23rd work for anyone?

I am leaving the first week of August (I hope, if I have a job), thus the short notice.

I am going to have to hold off on saying yes until after I talk with the scheduler on Tuesday. The 23rd is the day before I was hoping to have to go in for the procedure.

Hi Jules!

I am all for a get together! I would love to ocome to Woodstock! July 23 is great for me. Woodstock is closer for those that lives in the burbs. If it is too much for you with moving, I am willing to host it in LaSalle.
