Friday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Ahhhh...Friday and a holiday weekend!!!! No work for three days woohooo!!!!
Today I dressed up for the 4th of July. I have a cute Hello Kitty 4th of July t-shirt, and I have socks with little red stars, and I did my nails in red...I think I look very festive!!!!
I'm also stewing about the normal things...I haven't lost any weight in a couple of weeks. I haven't heard back from that guy yet. But he keeps saying he's going to call. I started the week feeling optimistic but I'm not so much any more. Maybe I won't hear from him till after the holiday because he's so busy. I wish he would call me.
Steven- I agree everyone here is definitely considered a friend. They are better than my other friends, when it comes to the struggles of obesity. No one can understand better than another obese person how hard it is to live life so over weight and how hard it is to lose all of that weight.
Well back to the grind. Have a good Friday. Bye

No big plans for today. Just need to go to the store, cleaners and bank.Then come home for some pool time.

Good morning!
I have some work I need to get done in the morning and hopefully I can get to the pool today. The problem is that if you don't go right at noon when they open, you won't get a chair to lay on. And I want a chair! :)
Why won't my picture change? Does it take a while? I uploaded a new one but it still shows the old one. EERRRR!
Steven-I 100% agree that this forum has the best people! Not just about weight loss, but just solid great people. I missed for two weeks and was wondering all the time how everyone was!
Lisa-Still don't know about a move date.....waiting for the job from Baskin. Should know by next friday. I'm hoping to move August 1st ish. Enjoy the pool today and if you need me to help you empty things at the bank, let me know:)

It seems we are the same person. Ughhh....I want to think positive but then I'm afraid to get my hopes up. I think it's too late for that. If I don't get this job I will be crushed. I am thinking I won't hear anything till next week. I hope we get our jobs and I hope they tell us we got our jobs...ASAP. I think it's cruel to leave us hanging and not give us our jobs.
About your picture. Your new one was up yesterday (the one of you standing by the beach...at least that's what it looked like) and now your old picture is showing again??? I wonder how that happened????

Wow, a heat wave! It is summer out there!
Today I did not go to the gym, instead I walked to a farmer's market about a mile up the street. It was a nice walk but boy I had forgotten just how intense that sun is. While I was walking home, I saw a hummingbird in a tree. I tried to get a picture of it but for some reason, the bird would not sit still!!
Finally, once I had my camera on my phone figured out, I was ready to take the picture. Wouldn't you know it, the bird flew away!! How dare he!!!
The weight issue is really beginning to bother and depress me. I was so excited to be 2lbs from 100. I come out here and I swear up until this past week, all I have done is sit. So what did my weight do?? It went up two lbs. I refuse to change my ticker. So mid last week, I started back to the gym ( sitting a hospital can be long and mind numbing) and this week I faithfully went in the am. Well, I am back to the previous AZ weight but I am not happy I am not losing. I feel that it is taking soooooooo long. I know this weight took time to come on and it will take time to leave, but here is my sick mind wanting it all off yesterday. Oh well, my body will do its own thing in its own time. I do need to go buy something for my hands to do as I am BORED out of my mind. I am glad my mom is home and I can be here helping, but when she is sleeping and I am just sitting I have a tendency to want to snack. NOT GOOD! So, I think a trip to Micheal's is in order.

Happy 4th weekend! Whee a 3 day weekend. It sounds nice even when you are not working!
Steven: Everyone on this board is a friend. We are due for another meet and greet. The first time there was one after I became a member I was too shy to go. I am sorry I missed it because everyone is so wonderful! They are just as nice if not nicer in person as they are on the board. We should have one before Jules leaves for California!
Crystal, you look fabulous! I cannot say enough about how great you look! You have come so far from the beginning! Try to relax about the job. I know it is nerve racking but month end was just yesterday. It is hard to wait hanging but I really have the feeling that the job is yours. They would not be still communicating with you if it was not. The only thing you have to agree on is a salary and a start date.
Lisa, enjoy your weekend. I am envious of your pool That can be refreshing on days like this! I am sure you will probably see family over the weekend. You are lucky they live so close.
Jules, love the new picture! You look great! I am still in denial of you moving to California. You realize that you still have to post here just as often even though you are living out of state. That will not be an excuse for not posting!
Debbie, I am so glad they figured out what was wrong with your mom and are getting it resolved. It can be very scary when a parent is sick. I am glad you are able to be out there with them but I also understand your boredom. Enjoy your time with them. I would give anything to be able to spend time with my parents again, boredom and all. Relax on the weight. You may be in a stall. It will come.
