Saturday Roll Call

Hey at this hour out there, I could have almost started the Sunday roll call!!!
Crystal - congrats on the job!! I am so excited for you. Before you go buying new boxes, check on craigslist under free and also, join freecycle on yahoo. I am on for the gurnee area and many times, I see people giving away boxes. All Free!!! Gotta love free!
Speaking of the Taste today and your heat. I had a friend from work go there today and she mentioned people were dropping due to the heat. I think it was wise not to go. I sure missed that this yr. Although not sure if I would have been able to "enjoy" it as much. My stomach still reacts to certain food.
This morning I went to the gym as I have been doing and I made a discovery. My thighs do not always touch anymore. It was such a strange feeling having air there! WOW!!! I know what a strange discovery. But this is a whole new world for me.
So, with my extension in AZ, I have been reconnecting with old friends. This coming week, I am meeting a co-worker from SEDOL who has moved to Phoenix. We will meet in Casa Grand, half way for both and have lunch.
Next week I am getting together with a friend I use to teach with. It has been about 14yrs since we have seen each other. This coming weekend I will reconnect with my good friends from my single days. They live in Vegas but are driving down to Tucson. I am pretty excited for all this fun!!! On the bright side, I am smaller than I was the last time they saw me!!
More good news about my weight. Even though the scales are being a pain by not moving. I put on a pair of regular 16's and zippered them Yep, first time in a long time I had something on that did not have a "W" after the number. I did not buy the jeans just yet. I did buy myself a Dallas Cowboy tee-shirt in a size L. WOW! A large! I am so excited.
