Hello everyone


I'm so excited.... 

I got the job!!!!  WooHoo...I got the job!!!!

You are talking to the new Accounts Receivable Manager for Flex N Gate!!!! I don't start till August 15th which gives me plenty of time to plan.  I am having trouble sleeping...I'm so excited.  I have so much to do.  I have to find an apartment, buy boxes, pack, get an estimate on the movers, sell the things I'm leaving behind....which is a lot.  I am buying new living room and bed room furniture and a new kitchen table.  So that will make moving easy...as all the heavy stuff will be left behind.  I have to give notice to my boss...she won't be happy.  I have quite a few vacation days racked up now and I think I will take a week off between jobs to get settled.  I think I will give my boss notice on July 22nd and my last day will be August 5th.  But I will take a week off with pay and start my new job on the 15th!!!!  I already know what gym I'm going to...hahaha.  Can you picture me on my patio relaxing in my first ever yard.  Next Spring I will have a garden to get ready like you guys!!!!  

Oh and of course I can't mention this on Facebook yet because I have work friends on there that don't know about this yet.

I texted my daughter the good news (she gave me permission to interrupt the honeymoon).  So now that I have this situation handled I now have to start losing weight!!!!

I don't have much planned today except to go to JCPenny and Meijer.  At home the normal cleaning and laundry.  Geeze when do I start packing???  There are things I can pack now.  Otherwise I don't have much going on this weekend as far as 4th plans.  Do you guys have any special plans?

Jules-  Your good news is coming next!!! Good news comes in threes...you are number 2!!!!! 

Debbie-  I tend to eat out of boredom too.  That's a big problem for me.  A lot of people are stress eaters...I lose my appetite when I'm stressed.  I tend to eat when I'm content or bored.

Nancy-  I might be able to finally get that kitty I have always wanted.  One of the things on my wish list for my new place...is a place that allows pets.  Down there it seems most landlords allow it...with a deposit.  I will go to the local shelter after I settle in and find me a kitty!!!!  Oh a kitty and a garden!!!!  I won't know what to do with myself!!!!

Well I better get going.  I have a million things running through my head now.  Just now I was thinking I will need to make sure I have internet and cable hooked up at my new place....hahaha.  I will need a "To Do List"...have a great day....bye

I knew you were right but I was afraid  to believe you and getting my hopes high.  I'm just glad that I will be close to Amanda again.

'Morning. Got my b-fast fixed and eaten. I will be jumping into my outside clothing here real soon to go out and do some work outside before it gets horrible out there. Yes, yes I know to be careful and I will. I am going to be working in the shade only. I have some things to get to that have been let go for a couple weeks. Afterwards I will come and futz around in the cool house. We had wanted to go to The Taste of Chicago but it is too hot out there. We have done that before and it was nasty, never again.

Congrats Crystal. We knew you would get what you deserved. And, as organized as you are, it will be an easy move for you.

Chris, I will agree with you on the Taste. It would be nice to go, but not in this heat.

Jules, you too  will have good news for us.

today is our 4th BBQ with our family. Then to the high school field to watch fireworks. The good thing is we can walk to the field, its only a couple of blocks from me.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!     Nana nana nana .... Told you to quit worrying!    The job was yours, the offer just had to be made.  But would you believe me?  Noooooo.  

I am so happy for you!    What a terrific way to celebrate the 4th!  I am sooooo happy for you!  You will be so happy in Champaign-Urbana and with a kitty!  Congrats!

CRYSTAL!!!!!!  That's great news!  I'm super happy for you!  And the move will be easy if you are not moving all that big stuff.  Congrats again!

Went to the pool today.  I think I stayed in the sun too long.  Terrible headache now.  But I have some time that I can lay down in the air conditioned house before I pick up my boys from their grandparents lake house.  

Glad to see Christine here!  You are right not to go to the taste today.  I was going to go to Summerfest yesterday but its too hot with too many people!

Lisa-enjoy your family day today!

Steven-glad you have two days off to enjoy:)

Debbie-I eat out of boredom too.  And stress, and when I'm making dinner and when......well, you get the picture.  Not so much anymore but every now and then I still do the bored thing.

YEAHHHHHHH CRYSTAL!!! I'm so excited for you.  What wonderful news.  I know how excited and happy you are going to be living near Amanda and Charles.  I bet Amanda is so happy, too.  You are going to do great!  You sound like a very organized person, so I imagine you will have everything in order in no time!  Do you have a place in mind?  Get something that you really want!

Oh, Christine, yes, Taste would NOT appeal to me today.  WAY too hot.  I'm not even sure if I'll find fireworks to see!
