Thursday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Still waiting to hear about the job. I am optimistic but I'm afraid to get my hopes up. I keep looking at apartments. I see a few that I would like to see in person. It's so nice to shop around for apartments online...what did we ever do without the internet??? The places I am looking at are in Urbana. My job would be in Urbana so I would be very close to work. I never live close to work. It would be nice not to have to commute. I would save on gas too!!!
To try to jump start my weight loss I have decided to take the advice of the great folks over on the exercise board. I have cut my cardio down to 40 minutes and have added that time to weight training. Everyone is swearing that I need to focus on building more muscle and although the added muscle might not help the scale it will help me fit into smaller clothes. So I can only hope this will do the trick.
I imagine Amanda is have a wonderful, blissful time in Puerto Rico. The place she is staying at looks so amazing. She will be there for two weeks!!!
A co worker's birthday is on the 4th so we are going to celebrate tomorrow. He will be 30 so we get to do another over the hill theme birthday!!! Hahaha. I will have to be good because I have had enough goodies lately.

I just got up. I have a bunch of things to do today, nothing urgent, but the sooner I get them done, the sooner I can get out and enjoy the pool.I have leftovers for dinner tonight, so no need to figure out what to eat tonight.
We went to our city park last night for a free concert by the Decator Park Singers. It was a great summer evening.

A lazy day for me today and I am taking advantage of it! I slept in this morning and watched TV for awhile. Then I paid some bills and am thinking of mopping the kitchen floor. I got one of those steam mops yesterday and am wanting to try it.
I got my partial back yesterday and now I can chew again! Yeah. My mouth is still sore but it will heal soon.
Steven, only 14 lbs to go -- WOW! Crystal, I am thinking positive about your job. I lived in Urbana and really liked it. It is a nice city. After all it is a twin city so the two cities are pretty much combined. Lisa, it sounds like you are having a good summer. I forgot that this is the weekend that Streator has all the activities. Enjoy! Dawn, I hope you are able to come up for air soon!

Sounds like everyone is doing great, but busy! Steven, congrats on your wt loss and 14 lbs to goal. Good for you.
Crystal, I'm still throwing up some prayers for your job. HOpe it all works out, just the way you want. The waiting is the hardest part, for sure!

Nancy, let me know how that steam mop works. I have kind of a "textured" vinyl, and I don't know that it would work that well for my needs, but I'lve always wondered how well they work.
I'm only working half day tomorrow, and then taking Tues off, so YEAH, holiday time.

Just got back from the pool. It's super hot out here so it felt so good to jump in! It was packed though....I guess I'm not the only hot one in town!
I used the website to make a newer current pic of me. Does it take a while to show up? I still see my old pic.
Lost another 2 pounds. It's coming off way slower now, but almost to 100 pounds lost. 14 more to go for that and 47 more to my goal. My goal date is Dec 31st so I need to get working!

Just a fast pop in to say.
My mom was released earlier this week from the hospital. YEAH!! However, she still needs to go into the dr next week for more tests. Turns out, all the bleeding etc was caused by intestinal polyps that became inflamed due to her taking of Aleve. Who would have thought!?!
The good news she has not had anymore bleeding since last week.
As for me, my weight seems to have stopped coming off all together. I have increased my workout (my gym is also here
) so I have been going there in the am. I am only 19lbs away from being in the 100's. I so want to be there before school starts in August. Oh well. It did not come on over night it will not come off over night.Hope all are doing well. Enjoy the heat wave this weekend!!
