Monday Roll Call
Good morning my friends !!!
Had a spectacular Sunday and Monday is starting off to be real good too. This week will be a test for me. I am gonna see if I can hit the gym before and after work on a consistent basis. So far I have been going here and there during the week.
i am really hoping to get the front desk job at Marriott in Lisle. They have a PM and weekend position open and would be perfect for me. Its been a while since I did face to face customer service and I loved working at holiday inn hillside when i was 20. Lets see how this one pans out.

Good morning!
Becky did a great job at her dance recital. She was in 16 different dances! I see she has really improved this year from last year. She was good last year, but really good this year. She loved the bracelet her dad and I bought her for all her hard work.
I woke up with a headache today. They seem to be more frequent again. I know it could be related to stress.......as I have a little bit of that going on! I just hate waking up with them!
Today I'm working from home. The boys are required to do an hour of reading everyday so I have to take them to the library to get some books. Because I wasn't thrilled with their final grades, they also have to do a debate paper each week they are with me. They are excited about it. Keegan has to do this first paper on why it should be ok to have conceled weapons in Illinois and Devin is doing his on whether or not vending machines and junk food should be allowed in schools. Should be interesting papers.
Have a good day everyone! Try to stay dry as I heard we may get some bad storms again.
Steven-I hope your father is ok. I'm adding him to my thoughts and prayers.

and stopped at Michaels for some chain for a necklace I am making. I really need to stay away from the craft stores. I spent 30 on Friday, and another 40 yesterday. And no, it wasn't all for one peice.

Hello everyone
I'm back from a whirlwind weekend. Amanda's wedding went off without a hitch. The weather was about as beautiful as it could get. Amanda looked absolutely gorgeous. I will post pictures on Facebook later today. I have to go get them developed. Oh and I got a sunburn at the wedding...yep that's how nice and sunny it was. The wedding and reception sites were so pretty. I can see why my daughter the nature lover picked them. The reception was in a building that overlooked a lake...just a fabulous view.
I will be calling soon to find out if I got the job or not. My fingers are crossed. I got permission from the bride and groom to interrupt their honeymoon to text them the news. I drove by that apartment I love so much. It is more beautiful in person than it is in the pics. I was told it was about 2-3 blocks from a bad area. My son in-law (weird to say that) said and I quote "can you park your car on the street and not worry about it ...I can't tell you that".....well that was all I had to hear. I'm a single woman and need to live in a safe neighborhood. Not to mention if the crime stats are high I don't want to pay more for auto and renters insurance. So back to looking...I know every place I see now I will compare to that place...I fell in love with it and already saw myself living there.
I haven't exercised since Friday. I will exercise later today. On Saturday I was so busy I went from 6am to 8pm without eating and I was feeling sort of sick. I really don't feel hunger like a normal person anymore but I always call it hunger...I really mean, I need to eat because I'm feeling sick. We went to a Mexican place. I had a steak quesadilla and chips and salsa. I ate and ate...like I had no band. The next day at the reception there was such good food...lots of protein. But my band wasn't having it. I was closed up tight. I was able to have a chicken leg...that's it. My band can be so fickle. Everyone made a big deal about how much weight I lost and of course it's nice to hear but I feel so uncomfortable having people looking at me. I also still have a problem with seeing myself in the mirror and still feeling really, really fat. Unfortunately, I also felt fat at the wedding. I guess the mental part of losing weight takes time to get used to.
Today I have to do laundry, clean up a little around the house. I am going to make that call to find out about my job. I am going to run some errands...especially getting pictures developed. I know so many people don't do that but I am old fashion. I like to have pictures in a photo album and flip through the pages. I still get pictures on a disc to put on my computer....I just like photo albums.

Steven, I am sending good healing energy to your father and hope that the effects are minimal.
I am back at work and wondering what happened to my weekend. I ushered for the Playhouse twice, so I guess that took up most of it. We attended a party for our neighbor to celebrate his graduation from community college with an Assoiciate's in Auto Mechanics on Saturday night after the play.
I am thinking about auditioning for the next play (Once Upon A Matress", but I can't think of a funny monologue or short piece of a Broadway song.......maybe I will become inspired.....
Crystal----the pictures are beautiful and they look SO happy. I am glad that the day was beautiful. Sorry about the apartment, it really IS great-looking!
