Wednesday Roll Call
Morning/day all. It is transition day to Chula Vista Resort up here in south central WI. We will first stay on our balcony at this hotel and watch the river traffic. Riverwalk Hotel is the only small hotel that has a view of the Upper Dells. It is so relaxing and that is why we stay here and it is with in walking distance of all of downtown Dells. Chula is right on the river but it is heavily wooded and you can only see glimpses of the river and hear the boats go by from up above. We are up about 60' above the water. We have a room facing the water and just love to sit out on the balcony and take nature in. I bring binoculars so I can watch the birds that fly from tree to tree in search of their yummy food. The DNR in WI has strict laws about trees within 75' of the river. It cannot be felled and if it does die it has to stay in place and rot naturally.
We meet up with friends at a restaurant
for lunch. This restaurant is right on Lake Delton across from the Tommy Bartlet****er show. They usually are rehearsing when we eat and can watch the water skiers. We then go up to Chula which is just north of town and we stay there until Monday morning with an inside and outside waterpark. Dave golfs on Friday and I shop, teehee

Good Morning Chris and Dave.
It sounds like you are having a wonderful week.
Enjoy! We have blue skies at the moment, but more rain is predicted. Last night/evening, we got nailed with a very severe storm. At one time we couldn't even see our cars, less then 10 feet from the house. The cable went out, so did the phone and internet. The downside of bundleing services.
I do need to go out and feed the birds this morning. The little theives are eating up to 2 feeders a day. They are fun to watch. We have seen some different birds this years. It keeps it interesting.
We are going up to Yorkville later this afternoon. Our DD has a dryer issue, so Dad to the rescue.

Lisa, any day away from work whether the weather situation is great.
Try buying only safflower seed (the white seed). It is more expensive but the grackles, blackbirds and some other ones do not like it because it has a bitter taste to them. The cardinals will eat it as will others. Squirrels hate it also. I find that the Chick a Dees love it.

Hello everyone
Well tomorrow is my Friday and I can't wait...even if I have to stay late to get everything done for month end. My boss drove me nuts with the reviews again yesterday. She just can't let go of her control. She is very controlling.
I am looking forward to my 4 days off. I haven't had four days off in a row since I was sick in December...and that was no fun at all.
Christine- I had a friend that stayed at Chula Vista and really liked it.
Nancy- It sounds like you found a keeper. Any man that will stick around and help declutter your house must really like you!!!!
Dawn- I also think maybe you should start sending out resumes. At least then you have options. Just staying in a bad situation at work is just going to depress you. Actually just sending out resumes made me feel better...because I knew I took the first step in getting out of here.
