Tuesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well I'm feeling optimistic and happy today. The guy that interviewed me has started to call my references. My friends told me right away. My friend Debbie said she thinks I have the job for sure because he asked her if she was going to miss me!!! That sounds very promising!!!
I am eating fruit for breakfast. It is very yummy. I have cut banana, strawberry and raspberry. It's more like a treat than a meal.
I have nothing really going on the next couple of days except work and working out. It's month end for us and I'm taking Friday off. I have never taken a Friday off of month end...ever. But I have so much to do I had to take the day off. So the normal time of getting everything done in 5 days is now only 4 days. On top of only having 4 days for month end...my boss has decided this week is the week to do reviews. I did get my reviews done last week but my boss is going over them like she's an English teacher (she even used a red pen!!!). It's driving me nuts. Other than two punctuation marks that were wrong, everything else was fine....all of the other corrections are her opinion. Like she wants me word things differently, add things or use different words. I just want to scream at her. Is she doing this review or am I??? So I am trying to make her corrections and do all of my other month end work. I have a feeling I will be here late the next couple of days....Ugh!!!

Thanks for the good wishes, Lisa and Nancy! I've been lurking but not posting lately. Seems like the days just get away from me anymore. It's nice to see all the new people on the board. I'm off to the gym this morning then I have a ultrasound of my pancreas at 12:30. No eating or drinking till then, it's going to be a long morning! I'm still doctoring trying to figure out why my liver enzymes are elevated and I've had pancreatits twice now in the last two months so they are trying to figure that out too.
Nancy, I'm so glad you're recovering so well from your surgery. That has to be such a relief!

Good morning everyone. I am not going to cyber stauk today will actually post something! Yea Me!. Except, not much going on. Going into work at 10 and will work til 7. We have reviews going on now also. They have to be completed by June 29th. Easting breakfast right now, Crystal the fruit breakfast sounded wonderful. I have my moments where I just want to eat fruit all day but try to limit it. Have school work to do after work today-only 2 more weeks til the class is done.

well guess what .. Mama has decided NOT to come on Wednesday !! Now my moms brother is going in for surgery and grandm is just freaking out. So mama has to be there to keep her mother calm. Just makes me mad that her other siblings dont do crap and it all falls on mama. Oh well...shes gotta do what shes gotta do.
I havent been as diligent at the gym as I would like to. I made it o Ballys this morning but my heart was just not into it. I ran back home after 10 mins. I shall go again tonight and hopefully not bug out this time.
I got me a little charcoal grill. Dont know if I told you guys about it . It only 14 inches wide but fits my needs perfectly. It only cost 20bucks. Made some burgers the other day... smokey flavor heaven !
Has rice today .. I know I know .. not supposed to have it. But my neighbor at work was having spanish rice and I just HAD to get some. I only ate a few bites but it did hit the spot :p

Good afternoon Steven and the rest of Illinois!
I am back to work and almost quit first thing this morning. I actually lost me temper with my boss and he with me. Very interesting. I was trying to catch up from being gone two days and he comes to me to show me stuff like I am 3 years old. I TRIED to hold it in, but I wound up saying "I THINK I KNOW what I am doing!" He got very huffy and stalked away.
I am very tired of this guy treating me and everyone else like WE are the stupid ones. Of course, most of what they did while I was away was done incorrectly. WHAT is the point? I have trained them in the correct way to do things, they just don't see any point to doing it as they are told.
So....again, interveiws with unemployment ran through my head......."hostile work environment" also kept running through my head. Between the fact that he allows smoking in the office, to the HUGE dogs that used to be here, to the fact that he did not ask any of the new employees what deductions they would like withheld from their paychecks, to the trying to get us to take "flex time" (NOT at time and a half) instead of paying overtime...........................GRRRRRR!!!!
Anyway, I am back for now and thanks for the venting space!
David and I went to the DMV at lunchtime to get his (new to him) car registered. He is now "set to jet" and can't WAIT to get home to drive somewhere! Another era passes!

I am so sorry that work is so crappy. Just a thought, you are in a work environment and I think it is against the law to have smoking going on. You may want to inquire with your public health department and drop an anonymous tip as to that your work environment is not smoke free. Unless no customers come in, I don't think smoking is allowed.

Whew, am I pooped!
Rick and I have been tearing things apart, cleaning and decluttering for the last 4 days. He is so sweet to help me! You can see my house again! Needless to say it has been overdue due to knee replacements and back problems but it is finally getting done. 
Steven, I am glad your doctor was tickled with your weight loss! You have done so well.
Crystal, my fingers and toes are crossed for you. This is a very exciting week and could be very life changing for you! Everything sounds so positive! Where is the apartment that you found?
Christine, I hope the weather is clearing up for you. We are supposed to have rain all week here.
Lisa, it sounds like you are getting a lot accomplished as well. Enjoy your visit with your friend!

Debbie, I am glad you are out in Arizonia when your parents need you. I hated it when my parents moved to Arizonia and were so far away. I was extremely happy when they moved back to the midwest. It was so much nicer especially for illnesses.
Lynn, I am so sorry that you have pancreatitis. That is extremely painful and hard to deal with! I hope you get a clear doctor report today and start feeling better soon.

Ahmer, I am sorry your brother is screwing up things for your mama. It is amazing how some people are oblivious to what is going on around them! I hope things get worked out soon. Also, I eat rice without problems. As long as I dont overeat it, I have no problems. I have been eating it since about months from surgery and until 2 weeks ago, never had a problem. It did backfire then because that was all I had to eat.
I guess I ate too much and I do not want to do that again!
