Sunday Roll Call
Good Sunday morning all you kids at heart and happy Dad's Day to all you gentlemen. My dad is gone as is Dave's dad and we both miss ours very much. Enjoy your dads as long as you can.
We are off to the Dells at about 5am. Hopefully the area between Hoffman Estates and Rockford that has construction will not be too bad because we are leaving early.
I will be checking in over the course of the week with the wonders of Wifi. I still travel with a PC. I am resisting getting any other gadgets in my life that has a small screen. I have a hard enough time with my cell phone and texting on it, heehee.
Hopefully the "sunglass boy" in the message title will keep the rain at bay.

Hello everyone
I am sitting eating breakfast and watching a True Blood marathon...I love True Blood.
Today I am in the house till this afternoon. They closed my street down for the Father's Day parade and festivities. Around 1pm-2pm the traffic will clear up. If I leave before then I will not get a parking spot any where near my house when I get back. The drawbacks of living downtown...they close my street down several times a year. The next time this will happen will be next month for Drag Strip Days...I hate it.
I dyed my hair and it came out a little lighter than I wanted but today when I do my highlights I will throw in some low lights and all will be good. I have always dyed my hair with prepackaged boxed color. I never used professional color you have to measure and mix yourself.
Yesterday I started to get everything together for my weekend next week. I am getting my bride kit together. I found an article that lists some things to have for the bride just in case. Like a sewing kit, safety pins, Tide-pen...stuff like that.
Well I have to get back to my relaxing. Have a good day. Bye

Crystal, That was a great idea, to have a bride kit. You never know. I kept a notebook going for everything, then, still forgot the runner ( for my Monica). It had gotten behind something, and I totally missed it. fives years later, I was able to donate it to my best friends daughters wedding
Hubert thinks he got my carpet shamapooer fixed. I am going to try it today on the office carpet. I hope it works. I am making Kabobs for dinner today. Hubert enjoys them and they are easy to grill.
Happy Fathers Day to all the fathers. Mine too is gone but not forgotten. He died at 74 in 1990.
I did get to the farmers market yesterday with Monica and Scott. I was able to pick up a few things. I am having a dear friend come on Tuesday, so I wanted fresh veggies to go with our lunch.

Greetings and sanitations ... errr .. salutions my frieinds.
I had one busy Saturday. Yep, its set that mama is returning this WED. And boy did I have some cleaning to do. I started at 7am and didnt finish till noon. !! The only things I have left are the stairs. I will vacuum and shampoo the stairs as well. So that wil take up a good part of my day.
I confess that I have not been to the gym the past 5 days. I simply did not have the strenght due to my previously mentioned abnormal sleep patters.
I believe I caught up with my sleep yesterday when I took and afternoon nap. I have not felt this refreshed in over a week. So yes indeed.. today will be a heavy duty gym day. Have a lot of catching up to do.
I am a charcoal grill person. But my grill broke last year. And I didnt have the budget for a 100.00 grill. So, I got me a little personal grill for twenty bucks and make some seasoned hamburgers. It was FANTASTIC !! Things should loosen up financially next year and I will purchase a regular grill as this one has very limited capacity. Cant invite friends over with this little one !

Good Evening All!
What a busy weekend! Rick and I have been cleaning and decluttering all weekend. My cleaning lady has not been here for 3 weeks and I cannot get a hold of her so it was definitely time to do something.
This is a busy week coming up. Filled with family. My sister and brother in law are coming on Wednesday and on Friday, Rick's daughter and family are coming.
Happy Father's day to all you Dad's. My dad has been gone 25 years and I still miss him so much. I keep thinking it will get easier but it doesn't. Enjoy your time that you have with your Fathers. It is something you can never get back.
Christine, hope you and Dave are enjoying Wisconsin. Steven, congrats on more weight loss. Crystal, it is hard to believe Amanda's wedding is almost here! You will have to post pictures.
