I think it went well.  I seem to fit what they are looking for and he said that I did.  So really it will come down to if he likes me more than the other person...not if I am qualified for the job.  He came out and said I was qualified.  Next week he has the whole week off for vacation and he has a couple more interviews when he gets back.  So I the earliest I will will hear back from him is the week of June 20th (probably towards the end of the week).

When I left to go to the interview time just got away with me.  I wanted to leave at 10 and ended up leaving at 10:20.  I am usually very on time and very scheduled.  I forgot things in the rush...but I got there in more than enough time.  I just hate rushing.

My fingers are crossed.  At first I got the feeling he was definitely interested.  To the point I really felt like he was going to hire me.  But at the end when he said he had other interviews my confidence wavered.  So now I'm not as sure.

Sounds like it went super. I knew that you would sell yourself with your skills and personality.

I know Mahomet.  It looks like a quaint little town.  I exit off of 47 to 74 right there in Mahomet.  The job is actually in Urbana right off of 74.  if you know where the Farm & Fleet is, it's right there.  The place is called Flex n Gate.  They build car parts, like bumpers.  That are made to the exact specifications of the customer and they use the car parts in the assembly of the auto.  So like Chrysler will buy their bumpers from them and they put them on their cars.  They are a very successful company.  They have locations all over the country.

I know a lot of people that work/worked at Flex n Gate! Mahomet is quaint and oh so "clicky" If you were not born there you never quite "fit in" If you need any tips or suggestions for Chambana just let me know

Thanks.  If I have any questions I will ask.

I think Flex n Gate is a weird name.  I thought they made gates or something.  which they don't.

I know......... Right?!?!?!?!?! I dated a guy that was a manager  there and when he told me where he worked I said " Oh cool, like Iron decorative gates and such?"LOL

MaryAnn's diner is cool..... They have great burgers! Downtown has all kinds of neat little shops. Tons of used book stores( which you mentioned) resale shops, 4 or 5 pawn shops( great place to get DVD's)and coffee shops galore! Stay away from campus town when the kids are in town! It's a zoo then! It's a great place to go between June and August! They have a flat top grill on campus at Green and something( can't remember the other street) One of the most exciting things that happens in Chambana is in May. The kids are all leaving school and moving back home and don't want to take most of their things with them. They throw out lamps, microwaves, entertainment units, ect.People flock there to "dumpster dive"

If you are looking to rent an apartment, stay away from Faron properties! I use to do their move in/ move out cleaning and every one of his buildings is infested with roaches! I actually stopped cleaning for him because he would not do anything about it! If you do look at an apartment of his, make sure you check EVERYWHERE for those little buggers!
