What is happening in your corner of IL? It is pretty quiet in Itasca at the moment but I have a busy weekend planned with packing for the Dells next week and a Gigi Hill Handbag party on Sunday.

Hello everyone
I am trying to relax this morning and not think about my interview. I am watching TV and eating breakfast...just as if it were a Saturday. I decided I am going to workout this morning and then take a shower. It will relieve stress. I won't be home till late today. I will have quite a few errands to run tomorrow. But they are fun errands. I have lots of coupons to use. I have a $10 coupon and 30% off coupon from Kohls. JCPenney, I have a couple of $10 off coupons. I also have a 25% off coupon from Goodwill. I also have groceries to do too.
I had a nice NSV yesterday. I was helping someone with a system problem and it had to be elevated to IT because I wasn't able to fix what this person did. So the IT person we contacted actually came by my desk because she wanted me to walk her through what she did. So she enters my cube and looks confused. I asked her if I could help her. She looks right at me and says "I'm looking for Crystal"....which of course surprises me. I am Crystal I told her. She looked at me and said " oh my god you lost a lot of weight. You look totally different!!!" and then said "I'm sorry that's rude"...all I did was laugh. I said to her it's not rude...you made my day!!!
I am with Christine and want to see the sun today. I have to drive to Champaign and would like to do it in the sun...not the rain. I looked at the forecast for today...Champaign will be 91 and stormy...YUCK!!! After the Winter we had we deserve a sunny warm Summer!!!
Well I am going to go and workout. Have a great Friday!!! See ya.

Maybe if we all cross our fingers and toes, plus anything else we can cross, it might make the sun come back. I hope everyone made it through all the storms yesterday and last night.
Gray is the color this morning.
Crystal, have a safe drive and a great interview. Hopeing you get the job you are appling for.
Not to much happening today or this weekend. I am going with Hubert this morning, he is getting his Cpap machine. Then stopping at Walmart to get some shirts for my cousin Bob. He is in a nursing home, and every penney he gets goes for his care. so, we have kinda taken over when he needs things.
I do need to get bird feed today too. I found a place in Ottawa, where if you buy 10 25 # bags, the 11th is free. So, I o there for the bird feed.
The weekend will be quiet. I want to try out a couple of new receipes. And hopefully, get in some pool time. That will happen only if it warms back up.

My arms are hurting from yesterday. Thats a good thing, That means I did something right at the gym.
I dont have any plans for the weekend as of yet. I will play it by ear. I liked the insoles for my gym shoes so much that I got a pair for the casual shoes i wear to work. Now my feet dont hurt no matter where I am . That is such a relief :)

Have fun at the Dells. I need to figure out a way to get outta Chicagoland even for a day. Gonna try to put together another trip to Starved Rock etc.

Scott and I both had the day off so we decided that the three of us would have a family day. We went down to Petersburg which is about 15 miles north of Springfield and walked around Lincolns New Salem. This is a restored village where Lincoln ran a store and was postmaster of. It was nice but the mosquito's were horrible. 87 degrees is definately a lot easier to walk around in when you are 100 pounds lighter.
I have had a migraine from h..... this whole week. It keeps coming and going-mostly coming. I have prescription meds for it and they do not even seem to be working this time. I have not had this bad of a headace for a long time and wi**** would go away.
Have an assignment due for class tonight so I will be working on that shortly. It's funny how I can keep finding things to do....

Happy Friday all!!!!!!!!!!!
Things here in Orland Hills are quiet. My son is doing the cancer walk tonight and I can hear my daughter on the computer! That rain on Thursday was C R A Z Y!!!!! A 22 minute commute to work this morning took me almost an hr due to several roads being closed due to flooding! The kids are going to Dad's this weekend and I am spending it doing my usual Weekend stuff: Cleaning, Laundry and shopping! A woman is coming to look at the last puppy from the litter my dog had. I agreed to take her from a friend of mine that has cancer and she "forgot" to tell me she was pregnant! Pray she takes this pup cause we are getting more and more attached by the day! We named him Squirt........ Probably not a good idea to name him!!! LOL
