 Good Morning.

Another cloudy day, but, its Saturday, and I am staying home today. My car will not move! At least, that is what I want to believe. No plans for today, just finish a few projects that I started through the week. Maybe even decide on new colors for the house. We really need to get it restained.

I am hoping Crystal has some news for us.

Stay safe,

Hugs,
LISA

Good morning my friends !

I am gonna go get my vitamin levels checked today...gotta give some blood.

I made an ice cream discovery yesteday. Edys Slow Churned Ice Crean with no added sugar and half the fat. It comes in awesome flavors like fudge tracks and butter pecan .  It does however have 30 more calories per cup than Breyers Carb Smart. This might be a deal breaker for some of you but with the amount of calories I have been burning lately, I think I can indulge in this treat :)

I am gonna attempt to go the gym twice today. I skipped the gym for most of this past week. I just was too exhausted due to lack of sleep and like I have been wisely advised... I must listen to my body.  Today however I feel much beter :)

I had a string of little mishaps. First I was frying an egg and without thining I ended up grabbing the hot spatula at the wrong end. That slighly burned my palm. Soon after I was washing the blender to make some protein shakes when I cut my finger on the blades. If that wasnt enough I caught sight of my leg and it had a gash on it. Lord knows where that came from !!!

Ok, ttyl

love

 Ahmer,

Do you think something is telling you to be careful today? For some reason, those type of days rarely end early in the day.So................be careful.

Ahmer,

Try not to hurt yourself anymore today!  And I know what you mean about listening to your body.  I didn't work out at all this week since I was getting about 4 hours of sleep each night.  Not by choice, but there is just so much to do during the day and so little time!

Stay safe today!

I was on a guilt trip for not working out most of the week. But I discovered that it was being counter productive. I am just gonna hop back on my gym bandwagon. I have a devised a plan that will allow me to burn 1500 calories  between 2 trips to the gym.  That way it wont be too hard on my body and I wont have to listen to it complain !

Hello everyone,

I didn't get home till almost midnight last night.  Champaign's weather was wonderful.  It was a classic hot summer day...ahhhh.  It was 94 and sunny.  When I was done with the interview (see Christine's post for details) I went picked up Amanda and she took me to the nature center where she works.  It was very nice.  It's a hands on center for education.  The kids can touch things and play.  They have a sandbox where the kids can pretend to be archeologists.  There is microscopes to see bugs and leaves close up...it's cool.  Then we went on a nice hike.  Then we went out for dinner (I never had lunch).  Then we went to a couple of used book stores...Champaign has a bunch!!!  I went crazy.  Then we wen to consignments stores...I had fun there too.  It was a perfect Crystal day.  We went back to her house and Charles was mapping out the exact areas to look for apartments and the bad areas to stay away from...because unfortunately if I get the job I will be looking for apartments when they are on their honeymoon.  So I am on my own there.  So I literally have a color coded map of Champaign/Urbana...he's so great.  I'm glad Amanda has had better luck than me in the relationship department.

Today I will be out shopping at JCPenney, Khols, Goodwill and Mejer.  I will be running, running.  I will finish up breakfast, workout and then off to my shopping spree.  When I get back I will clean up and do laundry.

Well I am hoping everyone has a nice Saturday.  See ya later.

Crystal,

Good luck to you!  I know how stressful it is to wait to hear about a job!

Hello!

It's been a CRAZY week!  So last friday we flew to L.A. to look at houses.  Since I have booked lots of flights in the past couple of weeks, I got a little goofy.  We drove to Milwaukee for the flight to find out it was out of O'Hare.  I couldn't believe I did that!  We never would have made it to O'Hare so we had to buy more tickets.  $700 later, we were on our way to L.A.

Found a house.  We are going to rent since we don't know the area and maybe the drive will kill us in a year.  So we are staying flexible.  The house is really nice-5 bedrooms, 3 bath, 3200 sq feet.  But it's harder to get approved for a rental right now with the economy than it would be to become cleared at the FBI!  I understand though-I would want to know who is living in my house too.

This week I was busy taking a two day training class and then turning around and trying to certify to teach it the next two days.  I did!  I'm only the 2nd person that has been able to do it!  :)

Rob left yesterday for L.A.  He is driving one of the cars and made it all the way to Grand Junction, CO.  He starts the job monday and I ironically had to go to L.A. for Baskin training (planned months ago) so I will be there for his first day:)

A neighbors tree feel onto our fence and deck Wednesday night with all the storms.  Because it was an act of God, we have to pay for the damage to our property!  So not fair-not my tree!  But I need it fixed so I guess we have to take care of it.  Not what I want to deal with right now.

My 14 year old son is for the first time in his life, giving me a hard time.  I know it has to do with some emotion about the move, etc, but I didn't expect it from him.  My 12 year old came out giving me a hard time so this is so surprising.

I hope you all have a good weekend!  It's quiet time for me this weekend and I'm going to enjoy it!  BTW, Coldwater Creek has EVERYTHING 50% off.  I did some damage last night!

Take care,

Jules
