My arthritis keeps getting worse but I dont know whether I can contribute it to surgery.  I have had both knees replaced and just had extensive back surgery in which part of it involved removing arthritis growth.  All of this since my surgery.

Nancy...

I didn't know that arthritis was a growth that can be removed.  I always thought it was an inflamation...like a migraine.  Hmmmm...I learn something new every day

Arthritis causes bone spurs which can be removed.  The spurs cause pain in addition to the inflamation.  It is kind of a one, two sucker punch.

Good morning folks !!!

Well I couldnt make it to the support group meeting. Got tied up at work a bit longer than I had wanted :S Strange how that happens when you have something planned for the evening and its that very day you run late at work !

I took a day off from the gym yesterday. I am sure my body is thanking me. I lost a few pounds again. I am at 260lbs and my target is 210. I can do it .. I can do it ... I know i can !! LOL

I am hoping right along side you that you get the job. Lord knows the job market out there is tough. It seemed to let up for a short while but things are nasty again.

Well, I am getting more and more concerned. I had another food binge last evening. It really feels like a demon is stalking me. I am going to schedule and apppointment with the psychologist today. I cant afford for this to become a problem

Alright.. thats it for now.

Consider moving to Dubuque, IA. We were listening to the local cable board meeting for the city of Dubuque and they were mentioning that their unemployment rate is at 6.1% compared to the rest of the nation of 9+.  They are doing something correct out there. Just wi**** would carry over here. Dave has been out of full time work for over 2 years. He had to collect his social security before he wanted to.

Christine,  Our one SIL has been out of work almost 3 years. It is not a nice spot to be in. At least Dave could draw his SS.

Yes, it is one of the things that is "helping us get by". And that is about it "get by".  And I do not trust "Quinnocchio" with what he wants to do with my pension. He wants to take more out and keep it for the state to use.

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

Working today and trying to stay cool.  I am with Crystal in that I can put up with this MUCH better than ice, snow and below zero temps.  Besides.....we are in northern IL...wait a day or two and it will all change!  ;-)

Things for me have been a little rough lately and I am trying very hard to get on track and get a handle on it all.  This is NOT for the faint-of-heart!  I appreciate being able to come here and feel connected.

For now though......everyone have a lovely day and maybe I'll look up that recipe!

Tell someone that you love them!
