Sunday Roll Call
Good Morning Steven,
Are we ever going to have a break with this rain? I wantto get outside and clean up the patio and deck, but I am not going to until the sun is out.
Steven, you are the ambitious one this morning. I was laying in bed deciding if I want to do hamburgers or lamb burgers for dinner tonight.
Not sure what I am doing today. I will do the laundry, exercise, watch Sunday Morning on CBS.Plus, I do have one bedroom that needs attention.

I am watching Law and Order and eating breakfast....ahhhh...what a wonderful thing.
In a short while I will be exercising . Funny I am able to run more and longer at home than I do at the gym. I think the reason is I am more comfortable pushing myself at home by myself than I am at the gym. So I will be pushing myself soon. I do it early because I find if I put it off till later than I never workout.
Well today and tomorrow should be more Summery. I am still waiting for some consistent Summer weather. I would rather be complaining about hot it is, than complaining about rain!!! I noticed the more weight I lose the more I like Summer. I used to hate Summer. It was too hot and I had no Summer clothing. Now I am liking Summer. One more thing that has changed after I lost weight.

I agree, if you get the excercise part taken care of in the morning. This way i dont procrastinate througout the day and skip working out altogether.
Me too. I would rather complain about how hot it is rather than how rainy it is. I am the verge of getting depressed by all this gloomy weather :S
Hmmm.. lamb burgers. Now thats an interesting idea. I dont like the smell of lamb meat. But I love gyros and I think they put lamb in it. I do love lamb chops !! I think one of these days I will mix lamb and beef together with some gyro spices and make a gyro burger. You've got me thinking now :P
We have a major platform upgrade done to our systems at work. I was working my tushi off from 9pm to 2am last night. Aaaah, the joys of working in IT.
My mother left for Pakistan in an emergency yesterday. My grandma is really sick and may not make it for much longer. They are giving her pain meds and keeping her as comfortable as possible. I believe in miracles and I am hoping that she recovers from her illness. She currently has paralysis on the lower half of her body. Once my mom reaches Pakistan in a few hours, I will learn of all the ailments she is suffering from.
I am still sore as hell from my fitness training episode on Friday. I am learned that I do not breathe properly when I workout and that lead to an oxygen deprived heart and muscles. This is most likely why my muscle hurt more than normal. So, I will focus on breathing and form when working with weight when I hit the gym shortly.

I am so sorry to hear about your grandmother. I hope that she is able to recover fully. I wish your mother a safe trip. It must be hard to have her that far away. I hated it when my parents lived in Arizona, I cant imagine having loved ones in another country!
I shudder whenever I hear of platform upgrades. We have done nothing but upgrade out systems at work over the last 18 months. We are almost through, and it will be well worth it but the headaches associated with it are horrible.
I feel for our IT people. I jokingly say that one of these days they will be running out the door screaming and never return! You all must have the patience of a saint!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend despite all of the rain. It sure has put a different slant on this holiday weekend. It has turned out to be a really quiet one for me. My plans changed entirely. I did not have lunch with my best friend yesterday and today's plans got cancelled due to Rick's son getting sick. Gage came down with a bad cold last night so he is home in bed today and Rick is with him. So our plans for today went out the window.
Steven, congrats on the 5 lb loss! You certainly are ambitious today.
Lisa, I hope you have a good day today. Remember, you have the entire summer to do things so it doesn't all have to be done today.
Crystal, I am beginning to wonder if we will see summer. I think we are stuck in monsoon season. I still dont like the really hot weather so these temperatures do not bother me.
