Congrats !! There is every reason to be proud.

I feel you when you say PCP. Mines has a poor idea of what us folks require and what we have been through. I basically feel I am educating him instead of him knowing the stuff. I have had him for over half my life so I kinda find it hard to switch him.

As long as he is "trainable" it should be OK.  That last one was a doozy.  He knew absolutely nothing about a WLS patient and was too arrogant to even consider that I might know what I was talking aobut.

 Afternoon Steven and Illinois Friends!

What crazy weather we keep having.  We had LOTS of rain overnight and now are back under a tornado watch.  Those things really scare me.  I have seen too much destruction from them and you are totally helpless.  

This afternoon it was sunny and nice and we went out and ran errands.  Finally got my vacuumn cleaner back after having it in for repairs twice.  Tried to buy out WalMart but they had too much stuff there for me to accomplish that.  Just made a huge dent in my bank account instead.  It is amazing at how much food prices as well as other prices have increased.  

Tomorrow I go back to the dentist to get the rest of my implant and then PT in the afternoon.  Pain is staying managable which is great!

Steven, it is great to have people notice the weight loss.  I was very open about my surgery and still am.  Lisa, I hope your shot offers you long protection but if it doesn't, knee replacements are not bad at all and are well worth it.  Crystal, I am glad the doctor got to the bottom of your dizziness.  I hope the antihistamines help.  Dawn, it must be a great feeling to have David finally a graduate!  I am sure you are beaming with pride!  Good luck with your PCP visit tomorrow.  I am so lucky that my doctor is familar with wls.  His nurse had it before I did and I think she trained him well.    He seems to be on top of it.  

Not much else is going on in my corner.  Decluttering continues.  Have a great evening!  

I have not been on here for so long! I try and get lost in my grandkids to the point I forget about my self!  I will most likly have to go up and see my dear DR soon. I have been having lots of heartburn and seem to not get to eat my recommended amount of food w/o it getting stuck! I have not had any fills or any adjustments in over a year. It has just started bothering me here lately. Water even gives me HB. I have not lost or gained though. I feel so fat though with the 25 pound regain with no exercise the last yr from the hip being bad. I have been getting in some exercise when I can.
Tomorrow is our last day of school and I plan on getting the grandkids more active because I have noticed weight gains in the boys so if I help them they will be helping me at the same time.

Well have a dry night and I will try and check back everyday, I do need to retouch with the friends here to remind me why I had lap-band surgery w/o the proper support guess what happens? Well slowly over a period of time the weight just creeps back up on you! I know I am one of the few that has let that happen over the last yr!
