Good Morning,
Well we have finally hit the halfway mark of the week. I have alot of people at work whom
noticed all the weight loss. Only my friends at work now how I did it.

Another meetng by O'Hare today and then off to Graduation for my son.  His father (and my son) never showed at the Graduation Dinner last night.  Long story with the ex, but this isn't very surprising.

My sister found out that the cancer is in the lymphnodes.  So she is being moved to stage 4 breast cancer.  It wasn't a great day yesterday!!!!!  But I did have one martini with dinner and let me tell you-I was feeling a lot better!!!!  So much I had to let Rob drive.  I rarly drink so that was a surprise!

Jules- I am so very sorry about your sister.  I can see you are her rock and you are there for her.    I wish my sister and I were as close as you seem to be with your sister and no matter what happens you will always have that.

I am so sorry to hear about your sisters staging of her cancer.  I hope they can aggressively treat it.  Just think positive and keep being there for her.  What would we do without our sisters?    This has to be almost as hard on you as it is on her.  

By the way, if you have not been told, alcohol will hit you even harder after surgery.  One drink can put you on your tush!    You are now an officially cheap drunk.  

Prayers for your sister and you.  Hang in there!  Hugs.

Jules, I am so sorry for both you and your sister. One martini sounds good, but with your RNY, alcohol will hit you faster and harder.

Hello everyone

I have been at work getting my work done for month end.  I can't wait till Friday!!!

My doctor appointment went well.  He says my dizziness is coming from the fact I have lots of fluid in my ears.  He was asking me about allergies and I told him I have had no problems.  But still there is fluid in there.  So I have prescription antihistamines to help.  Who knew...my ears feel fine but I guess they aren't fine.  I knew my dizziness didn't come anything serious.  

I am still really enjoying my books on CD.  I find that I can zone out do my work and listen to my book.  I am now listening to Memoirs of a Geisha.  I read the book but I thought it would be nice to hear it and I forgot what  great story it is.  If you haven't read that book yet I highly recommend it.  The movie is wonderful but there is so much they had to leave out of the movie.

Jules.. I am very sorry to hear about your sister. I will pray for her and I wish her much success. I know in my heart that everything will turn out ok in the end.  

The audio book thing really go me hooked for a while. But I am a fast reader and a bit impatient to finish the book. So the slow pace of the audio books eventually got to me and as much as I love the audio book concept, I am back to reading tradional paper bound books. I will check out the book from my library. I have heard only good things about it.

I had that issue once too with dizziness due to fluid in the ears. I am glad they got that figured out and you will be feeling better soon.

I am still very sore from my 20 minute butt kicking workout with the personal trainer. I have an appoinment again tommorrow. I am wondering if I should just take some pain meds and show up cuz I know the more i use the muscles , the less painful the will get.

As for the fatigue and muscle issues are  concerned, right now i am suffering from fatigue only.  The muscle pain is being masked by the pain due to excercise. I think the muscle pain issue may go away once I start engaging in a full body workout on a regular basis. Its a theory, I hope it works !!

The surgeon said that my fatigue issues is not surgery related. He thinks it is due to side effects of the psyche meds I take. However, I dont agree with that. I have been taking those meds for years and no side effect. Why would the effects pop up now ...outta the blue ?  Besides I cant mess with those meds. It took a very long time to come up with the Rx combination I have and if I change anything slightly... my head goes bonkers :S

Well my friends, try to have a lovely day. Its soooo ugly out in Chicagoland.  I am not gonna complain cuz we could be in dire straits like our friends down south. I feel so terrible for them. Waay to many people are being killed this year :(

Just a thought, what are your iron counts and your red blood counts.  I am low in iron and have a tendency to loose blood over a period of time.  Both of those will wipe me out faster than I can imagine.  In fact, I had iron infusions last fall because my iron got so low.  I take iron supplements twice a day.  It was something that was never a problem with me pre surgery.

Believe or not .. my surgeon didnt test me for my  vitamins   I called and spoke to them today and they will be sending a script for those tests soon.  You really gotta be on top of this kinda stuff... just cant rely on the surgeon to do it for you I guess.  

I am so sure that I am low on something. This fatigue and muscle pain didnt appear outta no where. It  has been going on for a while.. just got worse in the past month or os

Good afternoon!

Super quick fly by for me.....working really hard!

The Graduation went wonderfully and David is now a HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE!  He has a very proud family and I think he is very proud of himself.

Now....back to real life.  I have an appointment with a new/old PCP tomorrow morning and Boy, do I have a lot to talk to him about.  Hopefully, he will be better than the last guy I tried (that had me thinking I was having emergency surgery.....).
