Went to the bbq at sisters place that I mentioned yesterday. I had my burger like steak.. no buns , condiments etc.

I am off today..took a vacation day. So I headed out to planet fitness and joined the abs fitness class. They showed me 5 excercise to help get started on my abs. 2 were using machines and 3 were on the mat.  Kinda excited that I am finally getting started on working my muscles. I am so out of shape that its ridiculous. I got the wind knocked outta me in just 20 mins.

YAY for getting the yard work done. I helped my sister with hers a couple of weekend ago. I dont mind doing it at all. I am an outdoorsy type ( i know i live in the wrong place for that !). So anything outdoors is fine by me. I will rest for a short while and then head out to get my cardio in.

Well, thats whats going on in my lil corner . Not a whole lot. Just really focuse on physical fitness. Next get in shape and Bring Sexy Back !!!   :P

Right now because of Dave's knee replacement and then his emergency hernia repair we are "farming out" the grass mowing. We have close to a 1/3 of an acre. We have the son of the Lutheran minister mowing for us. It is a win/win as he is raising money for his mission trip and I do not have to mow but I can devote my time to the flowers and veggies.

 Good Afternoon everyone!

So far it is a pretty day and I am taking it!  I have my PT at 3:30 today.  I have been holding off taking my pain meds must to see how I am doing  I dont really feel the need for any right now and may end up just taking vicodin before PT instead of the big guns.  It is nice to think the pain is starting to go away!

Chris, way to go playing weekend warrior.  That is alway a good feeling when you get so much accomplished!  Steven I agree with you that Illinois only has two seasons but I consider them to be winter and road construction.    I hate road construction with a passion.  Lisa, I am glad to see the theater up and running again since the tornado.  Enjoy those season tickets!  Crystal, you day with Amanda was much more important than laundry.  You can always buy extra underware if you need it.  Been there, done that.    Jules, anything you can do to sell your house is worth trying.  I have been told that the smell of fresh baked bread also is a good seller.  Just go buy some frozen bread dough and bake it before a showing!  Ahmer, if you are looking for some outdoor work/fun hmm  just a short drive away is my yard and it needs weeding.  You can get your outdoor yard work pleasure here!

Nothing exciting in my corner of the world.  Have a great day!  Prayers for those in Joplin MO.  What a devastating tornado there yesterday.  So sad.

How many cats do you have ? I have 2 cats. One is a princess, too special to mingle with us commoners and then Mr. Mission Impossible, except that his only mission is to get a treat from us. He cant have any cuz he always pukes when he eats them. ( tried em all).

Uhm, just call me the crazy cat lady.  I have 5 cats inside.  3 of them are foster cats for our local shelter.  I have the word "SUCKER" stamped on my forehead and have a hard time turning away a helpless animal.  My cats from the shelter are specia needs cats, but they all think they have a special need to be spoiled.  Mitzi was adopted from the shelter and is the oldest.  Claude came from the shelter with a broken leg.  He later got cancer in that leg and had to have it removed.  Beemer, came as a highly needy, unadoptable cat.  He flunked at 3 homes.  Wiggles is another 3 legged cat who came to me after a dog got the best of him and Fluffer was born to feral mom outside and came inside as a tiny baby kitten the night before an 18 inch snow storm and has never looked back at the great outdoors.

Then I have outdoor cats.  Oreo has been with me for about 10 - 12 years.  She is a feral cat who thinks I run a home for unwed mothers.  That ended a couple years ago after I trapped and neutered her.  Several years ago she found a companion Tigger.  Then the neighbors 3 cats also hang out at my house.  recently I saw some additional ferral cats which one of them I think is the father of my indoor cat Fluffer.

My cats love treats, especially Fluffer who always asks for them every night.  He is partial to the Friskies Party Mix that looks like chex mix for cats.  It must be as addicting.

That is more than you probably want to know about my cats but you asked
