Monday Roll Call

Good morning/day to all of you!

I am still sleepy. I put on my "weekend warrior" outfit this past weekend and got most of the beginning of season work done in the yard. I know my body is going to protest in pain for a couple of days.

I got all my square foot garden containers done and planted, labeled etc for this year and all the flowers planted that I bought from the garden club last weekend.

Well it looks like rain again this week yuk! In ILL.We only have 2 seasons summer and winter.
we never see fall or spring anymore lol.

Christine do you excersize? I do 3 times a week.

Steven, yes I am a bike rider and a walker. I ride or walk to work almost daily.

Look at the rain this way - it is free water from heaven so you do not have to water the flowers and veggies.

I have a confession. I cant ride a bike and boy would I love to.  I am waiting to lose some more weight so its easier for me to balance. Plus I need a stronger body so that if I fall I dont end up breakihng my bones :S

It took my DH almost 100# lost before he got on a bike. But look out after he got on it - he could not be kept off of it. Your time will come!

Good Morning, 

Its Monday, so off to work I go, We did nohing over the weekend. I never even put makeup on for 3 days. And, it was enjoyable.

This week will be the first Community play of the season. I am lookin forward to that. We finally broke down and bought season tickets this year. I had been wanting to for a few years, but never did.

It looks like a another great day for those that can get out and enjoy it.

We have a small theater group in town but have not bought season tickets. More than likely we will become season ticket holders after they build their new building. We also want to become involved with the group as we have production team backgrounds from the Creek.

Hello everyone

Well I had a nice day with my daughter yesterday.  It was a beautiful day out.  We went out for breakfast and shopping and then we went out walking around town (we have a nice little old fashion downtown area in Oswego).  We went to visit the community gardens and the park district because Amanda used to work there and was hoping to see some old friends.  We did run into some of her old friends.  I am really tempted to get a plot in the community garden but I am hoping I won't be here the whole Summer.  If I get a job in Champaign then I would have to abandon my garden. 

I didn't get everything I wanted to get done this weekend because of Amanda's visit.  Oh well laundry can hold till next week and so can my pedicure.  Next weekend is a three day weekend for me...woohoo!!!

Good morning!

Yesterday we started to de-clutter the house and put things in tubs for a garage sale.  We got my boys rooms done and that took forever!  I continued to clean while Rob took a nap!  Also finished up the laundry and cleaned up after the cats.

Today I have to go to a meetng by O'Hare.  Driving there won't be bad, but coming home will be ugly at 5pm.  We have a stager coming tonight to tell us how to move things around to make the house look more "sellable".  Hope it helps!
