Morning/day Illinois!
Blast! This weather stinks. I usually do not say anything about it but I am really getting tired of it.
I had a very productive weekend with the yard, house and errands. Just wish I could enjoy the wonderful sunshine that we're to get today and be outside in it.
On my way into the ole IPD shortly. First am waiting for my uniforms to dry and eat b-fast.

Hello everyone
I had a nice weekend. I did plant my flowers. I relaxed and watched TV most of the day. I love to have days like that.
I had one minor glitch to my wonderful Sunday. My gym bag catastrophe lives on. In the afternoon I went into my closet for something and there was a bad odor. I realized right away it was my gym bag. The protein drink was cleaned from my bag but the smell was still there. So a simple wipe down wasn't enough to clean my bag. I emptied the bag took it to the tub and took some detergent and washed it. To make very sure the smell was gone I soaked in in vinegar and baking soda for an hour. This morning it's all dry and smelling a little like vinegar but that's better than sour protein drink....yuck!!!!
Jules- just because you're moving to California doesn't mean you can't still come on here and talk to us...once Illinoisan always an Illinoisan
Dawn- I hope your son had a great 18th birthday.
Well back to work...enjoy your Sunday.

Good Morning, on this bright but cold Monday morning.
Nine more work days for me, then off for the summer. I only hope we have a summer weather wise. I told Hubert I wanted him to open the pool next weekend. He laughed and said if there wasn't any ice on it.

Busy day for me today.....realtor, accountant, bank, deliver Scentsy, stop at the school and conference calls.
Had a birthday party for my 12 year old Keegan and Rob's son Benny who is 5 this weekend. The cake was awesome-monster trucks and dirt bikes riding up the side of the cake that was made to look like a dirt road! Very cool.
Wednesday I am going with my sister to get her double mastectomy. She, of course, is getting very nervous and anxious. I'm glad I will be there all day with her. She is going ahead and getting the reconstructive surgery started that day too. It will be a total of 4 surgeries.
I'm off to do some work before I run my errands! Have a great day everyone!

I am glad you are able to be with your sister on Wednesday. What a hard time for her! She needs all the support she can get. I am not sure what I would say to her but just knowing you are there to support her and listen can make all the difference in the world. I just cannot imagine facing a double mastectomy and the follow up reconstructive surgeries. It is painful and drawn out. Soft, gentle hugs and prayers to her.

Back to work. Fun, fun, fun.
I spent the weekend cooking up a storm! Lots of great stuff.
David's birthday was very low key. I guess he will party for his graduation. He had a good time at the concert even though it was cold, rainy and muddy.
I am looking forward to lunch when I can get out and do more of the interval. Like Crystal said, I am hoping one day to work up to running all the time. We will see. I am determined to get this excess weight off before the end of September when we go on our cruise.
I have my high school theater group tonight and they are having the rhubarb cake that I made for David's birthday treat.
