Newbie!

Hiya!  My name is Jamie and I am from Quincy.  I was sleeved in Peoria in January of this year, and was just looking for a new group of peers to take this journey with.  Cuz Lord knows its hard to do this alone!  And i always have questions    So I heard of this site and wanted to stop by and check it out!

To just hang out and get to know us, check in to the daily "roll call".  This is where we share our lives......WLS and otherwise. We have become great friends and get togehter a few times each year to meet face-to face and support each other all the way.

If you have not done so yet, you may also want to check out the VSG forum. I think we might only have one or two VSGs here in the Illinois forum and they seldom check in. I have the DS so I have a sleeve too, but I also have malabsorption. While we can give you emotional support, the sleeve folks can probably give you concrete advice on your journey since they have "been there, done that."
