Hello everyone
I'm wearing another new outfit. It's nice to wear something new and Summery.
We are having a food day next Friday. I suggested a theme and everyone liked my idea. I said since it was Cinco De Mayo that we could make it a Mexican food day!!! Everyone liked my idea. This is the one day a month I allow myself to cheat on whatever I want (as long as it doesn't upset my band). I will eat cookies or chips...small servings but I enjoy myself without guilt. I think it's good to have a day once in awhile where you can indulge (within reason). So I always have my "cheat day" on food day. Now next month will be my birthday and Amanda's wedding. I always had the attitude that birthdays come once a year so splurge a little and of course Amanda's wedding will be once in a lifetime. So I will have to be more conservative than usual. I can't cheat and splurge so many times next month...I won't lose any weight.
I am still enjoying my audio books at work. It's nice. I find myself sometimes getting to a good part of the book and not wanting to leave at the end of the day...hahaha!!! That's a change.
Nancy- I noticed your status change on Facebook. I am very happy for you. It's nice to have someone there to care about you. One of these days I will have the guts to myself out there. I am afraid...what a dumb thing to be afraid of.

I am working as usual.
We had to play "trade the cars around" yesterday as Amber's car needed muffler work and we suggested she bring it to a guy in Rock City. I traded cars with her last night and we dropped hers off at about 6:30 am today. Todd and I rode together in his car and I will pick him up for the ride home. Amber called at 8:15 and her car is finished.......total bill $24.80!!!!!!! Gotta LOVE the small town. When she told him that she does ot get off of wor****il 5, he told her to just put the check in a certain spot and take her car. How cool is THAT??????
I wound up NOT having to go to the awards thing last night and was very grateful. It would have been unbearable in that gym and this particular ceremony goes on and on and on.... Both my kids had activities they wanted to do instead. I actually had a "free night" and relaxed and enjoyed my show (Criminal Minds) which I haven't seen in FOREVER.
Tonight, the boys have Scouts and I think I will work on Graduation announcements.

I am also at work, but very quiet today. Yesterday was too.
I guess the utilities are not turning off people right now.

The Hubby and SILs are off to Wisc. fishing for the weekend. The only bad thing is he took my car and Ipad, and left me with his peice of junk. So, when I get home this evening, I will start on the housework for the weekend. The girls and I are going to
Rockom Gardens in Arthour, Illinois on Sat.

Ribbons mass was great yesterday. Devin is looking so grown up:(
Rob's interview went well (he thinks:) They told him they would get back to him by tomorrow so we are on pins and needles waiting for an offer! Relocation package is pretty important here as I can't imagine how much it would take to move us!
Got my hair cut this morning. I was turning into bush woman! Much better now!

Evening Everyone,
I have had a lazy day today. I stayed in bed until 11 am. It felt good to sleep in for a change with no plans for the day. I did go to Walmart this afternoon to pick up some food and look at new vacuums.
My other vacuum is not ready yet and the repairman does not return until Saturday, This is where I get frustrated with small towns. They are the only place to repair sweepers and when it came back the first time it worked great and then by the end of cleaning it lost all of its suction. There is nothing clogging it so we took it back in. I got a new pet vacuum but not as expensive of one as the one being repaired. We will see if they can repair the expensive one and if not then I have this other cleaner to use and if they can then I am not out too much. I wasn't ready to invest another $350.00+ that is in my old one. It should be repairable but if it is not then I am going to stop paying big bucks for sweepers.
I don't have any plans until Monday so nothing is scheduled. Rick's son is coming for a visit this weekend. He has decided that I can meet him so we are all going out to lunch on Saturday to get acquainted. Now I have to worry about impressing an almost 16 year old boy
Rick and I have gotten too involved for me to be kept out of his relationship with his son so I am looking forward to meeting Gage.
