Wednesday Roll Call
Well, we are trying this again. Rob is flying to LA for his (hopefully) final interview. So far no planes have been cancelled:)
Then I am going to mass this morning at the kids school. It's ribbons mass today and one of Devin's last masses before high school. Then all the way to Lake Zurich for a meeting. Busy days at work, but good times!
The cats have discovered flies and they don't like them. They want to catch them and it doesn't matter who is in the path! Jack jumped over my head last night to try to catch one!
Hope you all have a good day today!!!!!!
Jules
Hello everyone
I know every one was complaining about yesterday's heat...but I wasn't. I will take this over 30 below and 20 inches of snow...any time. The only thing I didn't like is when I first stepped out side after my work out. I'm used to walking outside all sweaty and have the cool air cool me off. But yesterday I walked outside and it was soupy...no relief there.
I am happy to be wearing some of my new Summer clothes. I am so sick of wearing sweaters. I have give myself a pedicure this weekend, my toes aren't ready for sandals.
Jules- I hope your husband gets the job. Good luck to you guys. Just think of the nice weather all year around...no more freezing cold winters.
Got to get going now. You guys have a great day. Bye
Jules, I hope your husand ha a very productive day.
I for one, am not going to complaine about the heat. So much better then the snow and cold. And we can go out without coats and worry about the weather turning snowy or colder.
Working and then home. No plans except to help hubby get ready for his fishing trip tomorrow. 4 days without any hassles for me. And not having to say where i went or why I need to go there. I am sure the guys will be having fun too.
Have a great safe day.
Hugs,
LISA
I would LOVE to move to California, if only for the weather. The crowds and terrible traffic would turn me off though. Good luck, as jobs are hard to come by anywhere these days!
I not only walked the loop here at work twice at a fast pace (in the heat) yesterday, but I also planted two bushes and a couple flowers. I also am going to track on "MyPlate" to try to keep in track. I did something right (probably more water) and lost 2 pounds (probably water) overnight. Lots more to go!
Tonight is Awards Night at the high school and BOTH my kids are invited. I guess I will have to attend. ;-)
I am also very happy (if trepidacious) to hear that David may actually graduate and "walk" with his class. Leave it to him to keep us on the edge rught up to the last minute. Graduation is 5-24. The kids is genius-level smart, but has chosen not to make grades throughout his high school career. He even had to take a correspondense course to make up the last credits because he chose not to pass Lit classes not once, but twice!
Everyone have a lovely day!
Jules, positive thoughts for your husband. I hope his interview goes well. Living in California would be nice because of the weather. I dont know much about LA. I have visited there but I do know I like San Diego!
Crystal, I am sure that you felt like you were walking into a sauna after a workout yesterday. To go outside where it was so hot and humid after working out --- yuk!
Lisa, enjoy your time alone. Sometimes it is good just to have some "me" time.
Dawn, I am glad David is going to finish up with his class. That has to be frustrating as a parent. To have such a bright child who doesn't want to do the school work -- ugh!
I had my doctor appointment this morning and I guess things are healing normally. I am off work for another 2 months which doesn't surprise me. Why they would not just come out and say that before surgery I do not know. I also got a semi approval to drive if I felt up to it -- but just around town. I was pooped when I got home which tells me I am not up to doing a whole lot yet. Frustrating but I guess normal.
Not much else going on today. Have a great day!
