Sunday Roll Call

Hello everyone

Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers.  I will be relaxing today.  I'm not doing much today.  It's supposed to be a nice day.  If it's as nice as it's supposed to be I may take a walk. 

I am very happy to report the sandals I bought for my mother of the bride dress came in and they match the dress perfectly!!!  I might do a hair style that would require hair combs so I have to buy some hair combs. 

I had a really weird encounter yesterday.  I had my "fake" screen door up (I have a screen that goes up with velcro. so I can have my door open).  So my door bell rings and a lady I never saw before was standing there.  She is dressed weird.  She has what looks like a rug or blanket wrapped around her.  She starts going on and on about how she always wanted to live in an apartment above a business and it fascinates her.  She wanted to know if there were any for rent.  Then she started asking how nice the apartments are and then wanted to know if she can look around my apartment.  I said no she can't and that I have to go because I have company (which wasn't true but I didn't want her to think I was home by myself).  As soon as she turned her back I took the screen down and locked up my apartment.  It was weird encounter and it creeped me out.  I felt like she was trying to get access to my apartment and not very good reasons.  

Well I hope everyone enjoys their Sunday.  I am going to be super super lazy...Bye

You did the right thing yesterday. You might of  given the police a call, in case she is going door to door.

I thought of doing that, but then I thought maybe I was over-reacting.  I think I would have if it was a guy at my door instead of a woman.

I would have been shaken too!  She sounds a little odd!  You did the right thing-that's for sure!

Happy Mother's day to all my cyber friends!!
What a great day I had thanks to my family.  Today we went to Great America to activate our season passes.  One of my big goals from this wls, was to be able to fit in the rides.  WELL...... I FIT!!!  What an amazing day!  I rode all the big rides that I was denied (or I should say, I denied myself) due to weight!  Now, I just have to figure out which ride I liked best!!!  I also had an amazing feeling of being able to walk through the turn-style and not have to turn sideways!  I have not just walked through in a very long time.  This visit today really put my weight loss in perspective.
After Great America, we went to Gino's East in Libertyville.  I was able to eat most of one piece!  Of course this is a deep crust pizza and huge pieces.

Tomorrow is Monday, I only have 2 more Mondays after tomorrow!!!!

Congrats on the "WOW" moments!  

 I LOVE Gino's East!  The only problem with the one in Libertyville is that it is a "NO Grafitti Zone".....what the heck is up with THAT?????
