Thursday Roll Call

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.  I don't know how I will make it until next Friday when he leave with him being here in my apartment but I will try to hang in there.  Luckily its all my apartment and my stuff and I am self sufficient (learned my lesson the first go round with marriage and divorce!).

Thanks for the support it is much needed and appreciated.

I have been where you are now.  My ex left me too...for another woman.  I too tried to get him to come back to me and my daughter.  He left and moved in with his girlfriend (who was 18) how can I compete with that.  I don't even know why I was so sad.  Our relationship was bad and he cheated on me so many times I lost count.  It hurt me to see the two of them happy together.  

I did finally move on. 

What I learned was...life is too short to be stuck in a bad relationship.  I am so happy now and I was miserable when I was with him.  If someone doesn't want you then that's their loss.  And it has been his loss.  To my satisfaction (I know I shouldn't be satisfied with this) he has not changed a bit.  He cheats on his second wife (he even tried to make a pass at me once!!!) he job hops and doesn't pay his bills.  They have to move in the middle of the night because he doesn't pay the rent!!!  Oh I am so glad I'm not with him anymore.  And one day you will be able to be glad. 

Don't beg him to stay.  If he wants to go let him...maybe one day he will regret it and come crawling back.  You also might move on and build a better life of your own, like I did and be happier and independent.  Either way your husband is acting horribly and selfishly towards you and you shouldn't reward that behavior with begging him to stay.  You focus on yourself right now.  You will be sad and grieving but after awhile there will be less and less of the sadness.  You are stronger than you think you are.  Please come here if you need to talk.    

I know once I get through the moving on phase it will get better its just so hard right now.  It just feels like a slap in the face right now.

I  know how sad you are right now.  This, on top of health issues is hard to handle.

WE are here for you, and I agree with Crystal on many points.  I was also in a similar situation and my life is SOOOO much better than it would have been had I stayed with my first husband. 

On the other hand, I know that does not stop the pain that you are feeling.  This is a difficult time and come here or reach out to friends or family that you can lean on right now.

Each day will get a little better.  Not much different from surgery......

I have the DS also I take the vitalady dry D it is 50k IU's and I was taking 2 a day.  Have you been taking a dry version of D?  Also Vitalady is going to be in IL at the end of July.
