Going crazy!!!!!

 So my last appointment with the dietitian is tomorrow. We are going over the sleeve diet( pre and post op) I have had a nervous stomach all dang day! Once the appointment is over they will submit the paperwork to the insurance co. Now the nerves are kicking in BIG TIME! They tell me I SHOULD have no problem getting approved but what if I don't??? It took me 5 years to finally make the decision to do this for myself. I am really trying to stay positive. If I feel like this now, how am I ever going to survive the waiting for approval???????????  LOL  

You will be fine. We all were where you are now. You will get approved.just calm down. Everything will work out.

I agree with Lisa and Christine.  It will all be fine.  We all know how you feel.  Keep yourself busy and the time will fly.

 Like you, I waited 5 years to decide to have surgery.  It was terrible waiting for approval.  Just remember if they deny the surgery, Appeal, appeal, appeal.  Many insurance companies operate on the principal of deny first and then accept and approve the surgery on appeal figuring people will not appeal and roll over and go away.  They save money that way!  But insurance companies are becoming more positive about bariatric surgery and approving them more often.  So hang tight.  It WILL happen.  By the time surgery rolls around you will be as excited as a kid at Christmas and not nervous about the surgery at all!  This is a very positive thing you are doing, so THING POSITIVE!
