 Good Morning Everyone!

I am up and awake for a change.  Thursday night I went to bed at 8 pm and slept until 9:20 Friday morning.  Last night I was so tired I laid down about 5 pm for "about 1/2 hour and woke up at 8 pm.  Now I have my sleep schedule even more screwed up.

I am going to ask for a blood test on Monday when I get my protime checked for my blood thinners.  I had 3 pints of blood in the hospital and that brought me up to a 10  Normal is 12 so I am wondering if I am down below 10 again.  I wish they knew why I was losing blood.  It is a slow process but it disappears.

No special plans for today.  I did some running of errands the last two days and was totally wiped so I over did it.

Lisa, have a great trip.  Chris, I wish your open house a big success.  I wish I could be there.  Welcome to Pam.!  Glad to have you aboard.  Crystal, I hope you get the year end done and submitted with no problems.  Then it is done for another year!  Debbie, hope you are feeling better.  Dawn, take care of yourself.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

Nancy-  I'm intrigued as to why you would be losing blood volume but they see no blood loss anywhere....weird...really weird.  Almost like it's evaporating.  Have you tried Googling this.  Maybe that's not a good idea, some people get scared read that stuff.  I hope you are feeling better.  When will you know for sure the surgery has helped your back?  Because if I remember this wasn't a guarantee thing.

Crystal, I am not sure when I know it has worked.  The other day when I talked to the nurse and stated that I still had a lot of pain and the pain killers were not cutting it -- she replied "Well, you just had surgery.  We fixed everything"

I hope it has worked.  As far as the blood loss I have tried googling it but there are so many possibilities I dont know where to start.  It scares me somewhat as my Dad died of leukemia and it took them forever to figure out why his blood count was off and he was loosing blood.  I am not a doctor so I have no clue

Good morning everyone!

It was a busy week in Milwaukee!  Worked 15 hour days each day but I think it will open very well on Tuesday.  I'm back there on Monday.

Today I will be doing the open house at Christine's.  Looking forward to it!  I am a little behind this morning so off I go to the bank to get cash, card store (sister's 50th birthday and other's sister's 25th wedding anniversary), treadmill and load up the car.

I also have a dinner tonight in WI to celebrate those mentioned above.  At least I got to sleep in this morning.  I was living on 4 hours of sleep each night and was exhausted!

I have been stuck at 69 pounds lost for two weeks.  Traveling didn't help since I was too exhausted to get on the treadmill.  But I worked so hard that I thought that would help.  This week back to the treadmill everyday!

Have a good weekend everyone!  Enjoy the wedding Lisa!

PS.....Cystral-it's illegal for your company to tell you what form of paperwork you bring them for the I-9.  They can only give you the I-9 list and tell you to pick off of that.  They may need you to fill that out again if your driver's license has expired.  I don't know any other reason they would have you fill it out again.

Jules-  I was thinking the same thing...what grounds do they have to ask for a specific document.  But I don't have to show any documentation.  It was like they had a random drawing of who had to provide their birth certificate.  I just got annoyed and angry about the whole thing.  No one seems to be asking any questions???  I know people are complaining behind HR's backs but no one is saying anything to them.   I would be asking questions.  I just don't think when it comes to authority you should just do what your told and not ask questions (that's my mom's hippie 1960's attitude coming out...she would be so proud....hahaha).  Of course HR is not one of my biggest fans after I made a big stink about them not firing my friend's sexual harasser.  I think I am labeled a trouble maker.

Hello again Jules-

I just wanted to comment about your weight stall.  I think it's your body reacting to the long hours and not enough sleep.  Our metabolisms go way down when we don't get enough sleep or are stressed.  So you might have been working lots of hours but that was actually working against you.  I didn't lose weight this week either because of the long hours.  But I plan to go back to my regular schedule next week.

Also, as you workout more and lose weight you will need to increase your intensity for the same effect.  Remember back when climbing a flight of stairs was a work out.  Well what your doing now is becoming easier and easier for your body and you need to be constanly changing up your routine for the same weight loss results.  Just a suggestion.  It worked for me when I stalled for a couple of weeks.

You are also right at the time that a normal plateau hits.  You may find you are losing inches and not weight.  This is kind of a rest period where your body catches up from all that weight loss.  Dont use it as an excuse to go back to overeating or get discouraged by it.  Skip the scale to just once a week and it WILL start moving again.  You are not done yet.  Promise!

Hello everyone

Nancy...you are up early!!!  I am having a lazy morning.  I was soooo tired.  I stayed at work late and then worked out and did groceries.  I didn't get home till 9pm.  It was a long day considering I woke up yesterday at 2:30am.

Today I am going into work for the last bit of year end.  We finished the year in pretty good shape.  It still fell short of my goal but I tend to set very high goals for myself and then get upset when I can't meet them.  I am hoping for a good bonus in June....come on Crystal needs a new Dyson!!!  Later, after work I have a long list of errands to run.  Including- Payless Shoes- I need some slip on gym shoes for the summer, JCPenney- time to buy accessories for my dress, Bath & Body-I want to buy body scrub and body butter, Meijer- pick up some organic fruit and other odds and ends, then ;ast but not least Walgreens- for an RX and news paper.  I have a long busy day and I can't wait to get home to relax for the evening.

Is it too early to plant flowers???

Christine- I hope your open house goes well.  I'm sorry I can't make it.

Dawn-  I wouldn't mind having you as family.  I would get along with you better than my sister.

It will be a beautiful day (till the rain comes again) enjoy.  see ya later.

 Crystal,

I have the same problem.  I set goals that are super high and then get extremely upset with myself when I dont meet them.  My supervisor and I had a long discussion on that at my last evaluation.  I guess I want to be perfect and think I can be.    Why oh why cant I be perfect?
