Tuesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

It's another nasty rainy day.  These April showers better bring May flowers!!!

Well here's my latest dilemma....I have always gotten rid of my BIG clothes as soon as I didn't fit in them anymore.  Well now I have this huge mountain of clothes sitting in my extra bedroom and all of the sudden I am afraid to get rid of them.  I keep thinking, there's no way I'm going to keep losing weight and I will need these clothes.  It's this kind of self-defeating thoughts that keep going through my head and I can't bring myself to get rid of them.  It's like the closer I get to my goal weight the more afraid I become that I will NEED those clothes!!!  But...it's these thoughts that have been pushing me harder with my interval training.  So maybe my self-defeating thoughts will back-fire and help me lose weight???

With these extra hours I am working and working out...it's not leaving me much time for anything else.  I have been working about 11-12 hours a day, and then working out (although I did shorten the workouts to 60 minutes during this week).  But on the good side my interval training is going well.  I am able to run for longer and longer periods of time.  Pretty soon I won't be walking at all!!!  Then I can enter into my first 5K!!!

I hope everyone stays nice and dry.  Have a good day....

 Good Morning.

Crystal, get rid of the clothes. Even if you do regain at some point, these clothes would not be in style. Plus, its extra baggage you don't need.

Mondays Dr. visit = the removal of .4 cc of liquid= was able to eat some dinner at Dover Straights in Hoffman Estates = no snacking when we got home = more liquid to  be drank, Also no problems getting my meds down this morning.
did find out that I do have some reflex, and by opening the port abit, it should take care of the problem. Wait and see. Life is good.

The one downer yesterday was I regained 2 lbs since my last visit to the Dr. ( over 1 year.) not happy about that)

A shortend work week this week, since I was off yesterday.

Have a safe day.

Hugs,
LISA

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

Get rid of them!  If you have any that you really, really love have them altered.  Otherwise, let them go.

I am working today then taking David for his Prom tux.  He is now dating his leading lady from the play and they have decided to attend Prom and Post-Prom.

The weather is looks "iffy".  It was raining when I came in, but now, the sun is trying to peek out but is seems to be a losing proposition.

Now much else here at the moment.

Have a spectacular day!

Crystal, I agree... Get RID of them.  That way they also won't be a "bad crutch" sitting there taunting you.  like Lisa said, they will be out of style and if you want to keep something in particular, get it altered if you can.  Of course, I would keep one outfit to be a happy reminder of how far you have come!

Rain, rain go away!  I told them at work today, is it a bad sign when you see a pair of Mallard Ducks walking through your yard....and you don't live near water? LOL.

It is 10 am and still "misting" here.  The clouds keep rolling through, but no clearing just black clouds.

Going out to dinner with friends tonight.

Lisa, glad you got a little fluid removed.  I bet it helps.  I think sometimes we just accept how things are and soon they become "normal" when really, taking care of the problem will help in the long run.  My niece (chloe's mom) sees Dr. Guske.  He did her RNY about 8 hears ago...and all of her almost yearly surgeries since.  I have met him several times while waiting with Amy for surgery and then talking with him after.  He is very kind....and of course VERY cute!  LOL

Well, stay dry and let's do a SUN DANCE!!

Georgie,

He is our Dr. McDreamy.

I have been able to eat breakfast this morning, and lunch is staying down fine. Hopefully, this unfill will take care of the problem.

 Good Afternoon Everyone!

Crystal, I am with everyone else, get rid of the clothes!  Unless they are on the borderline of fitting they will be no use to you even if you gain a few pounds.  Think positive!

Lisa, I am glad the unfill seems to be helping some.  Don't beat yourself up over 2 lbs.  Think back, and wouldnt you be tickled pink if that is ALL you gained in a years time!  Let alone a week or a months time!  Be happy it is ONLY 2 pounds and not 20 or 200.  2 is dooable and fixable.  It can even be water retention.  So relax.

I am with everyone else, I would like to see some sun.  Rick and I did go out for dinner last night.  It was good to get out of the house and go someplace for a change.  Sitting up and bed gets boring after awhile.

Not much happening in my life.  Dawn, glad David has a girl friend and is going to prom.  How exciting.

Everyone have a great day!

Dump the clothes!  They are just taking up room in your house and in your head.  Think positive- you can keep that weight off and not need those old clothes that are too big.

I'm still adjusting after having my stomach stretched a couple weeks ago.  It is almost like getting used to my new guts all over again.

I've also started taking a Digestive Advantage Intesive Bowel Support probiotics.  Sometimes I think it is helping, sometimes I don't think it is doing anything.  Anyone else tried these?

I am so over all this rain!  How about everyone else?!

I have not tried that particulat probiotic, but I DO take NSI Probiotic 10-20 - 20 Billion CFU from Vitacost and they have helped immesurably with the gas issue.  I take one morning and night and I can tell if I miss even 1.
