Monday Roll Call
Good morning,
I went to bed with a very bad headache and much to my dismay, I woke up with it. I'm going to try to go back to bed for a little bit-nurse comes at 830 so I can sleep wtill 8. I will just miss the treadmill. But I just can't do it this morning!
Off to Milwaukee today. I also am meeting my sister at the doctor today as they are discussing cutting off her boobs. She has stage 3 breast cancer and she is terrified about this. Going along for moral support.
I hope everyone has a good day and try to stay dry-I heard rain all week:( I WANT SPRING!!!!!!!!
Take care,
Jules

Good Morning Jules and Everyone.
I hope everyone had a nice Easter. At least it didn't rain. We had an enjoyable afternoon with our kids. A nice fish boil for Easter dinner, and a great ice cream cake for dessert. I ate the lobster and shrimp, and left the potates and corn alone.
Today is my annual visit to the Kane Center, and Dr. Guske. Now, if this rain would end, it would be a perfect day. BTW, I took off work for the entire day. The last time I had a doctor appointment, I was suppose to leave work at noon, and didn't get out until 1:15, and was almost late.
Jjules, please go and support your sister. I cna imagine how scared she is.
Rain, rain go away, come again in JULY when we need you!!!!!
Hugs,
LISA

Hello everyone
More rain...well I knew this was the forecast. I hope the Farmer's Almanac is correct and we get some much needed sunny weather in May.
This week can't go by fast enough. It's the final week of year end. Our company runs on a fiscal calendar and end of the year is April. Which is good because I would hate to have my holidays ruined by year end in December. I can't wait till Saturday after work!!!
My brother texted me last night. I hate that. He always calls or texts after 9pm or 10pm. I wake up early and I have told him this. So to teach him a lesson...this morning when I woke up at 4:45 I texted him back. Maybe if he gets some very early morning texts he will start calling or texting me at a normal time. To be honest I think he gets drunk and starts calling people. Ughhhh!!!
Jules- sorry to about your sister. I can only imagine how terrifying that would be.
Nancy- it's very nice to see you posting regularly again...I missed your posts. It's nice to have someone that hates their job as much as I do...hahaha!!!
Enjoy your Monday...see ya later

Good morning Jules and the rest of Illinois!
I am back from the funeral and all accompanying duties. It was nice to see some family members that I had lost touch with and I hope to keep up the contact. It is sad to only see certain folks at funerals. It was a small private service and nice luncheon afterwards. We stayed in the city, did a few things on Friday that needed to be done, then we went to the Pier so I could get my "Garrett's" popcorn. We then stopped at a favorite Chinese place for dinner and I am looking forward to left overs for a couple of days this week.
Thank you ALL for you thoughts, prayers and hugs. It is never easy to see someone you love leave this world, but it was MUCH better for her. She would not have wanted to live in the condition that she was in and it was time.
We had a 70th B-day party for my MIL on Saturday night, Riley spent the night and yesterday just a ham dinner with Todd, Olivia and I. David went to his girlfriend's house.........driving the car for the first time by himself! He finally got his dirver's license on Saturday.
I am back at work today, catching up from being gone. Fun, fun!
It is bright and sunny here, I think I will walk at lunch!
Everyone have a splendid day!

Good Morning Everyone!
It is cool and rainy here but I guess I will take it. Rain is better than snow that my sister had last week. As long as it is not white and accumulating then I will live with it.
Each day I feel a little better.
Jules, I am so sorry about your headache. Do you think it could be a migraine? That is how it started with me -- a headache that did not go away for a couple of weeks and when I went to the doctor he diagnosed it as a migraine. I am so sorry about your sister. My prayers are with both of you. I cannot imagine dealing with the cancer and the loss of your breasts.
Lisa, good luck with your doctor appointmen. Hope all goes well and that you get some answers.
Crystal, hang in there for the year end reports. I know it will mean some long days but remember you wont have to do them again for another year -- at least to this extent. Also, good idea to text your brother early this morning!
Dawn, I am like you. It is sad that you only get to see certain people at funerals. I really enjoy seeing family but sometimes it seems that thoes are the only time you see them and then it is not under the best of cir****tances.
Not much happening in my world. Just taking it easy, moving slowly and hanging in there. Everyone have a great day!

Jules, hope you are feeling better.
I had a laid back day at work. The other girl was the one that had to do the arrests and tickets for the weekend. I did the other nonsense work. That also included my grocery shopping list !![](http://images.obesityhelp.com/_shared/images/smiley/msn/eek.gif)
Been to Meijer for groceries. We are still learning the store that is closest to us in Bloomingdale. So far we love the store even though it is close to 10 miles from us. We do not even have a grocery store in Itasca we have to go to Wood Dale, one town to the east of us for a grocery store. I have had my dinner for the evening - left over salmon, spinach and zucchini from Saturday night, YUMMO.
Lisa, looking forward to what Dr G said about your issue with vomiting. Dave got to go back to PT today and he is hurting for the exertion of it.
I received a tulip container from my SIL yesterday. Do any of you have any pearls of wisdom as to how to seperate and transplant it into a container so the bulbs come up next year? I think there are about 5-6 bulbs in the container.

Tulip bulbs should be planted in the Fall. Enjoy the flowers now and let the plant die back naturally. Do not remove the leaves or stems.
In the Fall, dig them out and replant the bulbs (pointy end up) where you wish them to come up next year. If in a container, leave it out over the winter and they should come up in the Spring.
Good luck!
