Please....
Keep my husband Eddie, in your prayers. We are losing our battle slowly,as he is not responding to dialysis or the loss of the kidney. Now, after another fall from low blood pressure after dialysis, they discovered a tumor on his brain today. It is most assuredly from the renal cancer-we just never knew it was there in time to spare him the surgery. Thank you for all your kind thoughts-Janet K.

Janet,
I know how much you and Eddie have had to battle both his fights and yours. My thoughts are with you and your family.

I am so sorry that things are not going well for you and Eddie. I had a lot of hopes for this surgery bring relief as I am sure you and Eddie did as well. It is so frustrating to take 1 step forward and fall 2 steps backward. I am so sorry to hear about the tumor on the brain. All this does not sound good and it is so hard to watch this going on with a loved one and have to hopeless stand by and be able to do nothing. Accepting it is even harder. Long declines are so hard to deal with.
But make wise use of the time that you two have available together. Hopefully they can keep Eddie pain free or as close to it as possible. Maybe he will regain some strength for awhile. My thoughts and prayers are with both of you. You are having to endure such long days and nights. And yet they are ones you dont want to end. It is a vicious circle. Try to stay focused on one day at a time.
Remember to take some breaks for yourself. Go get your hair done, schedule a massage, take a long bath, talk to a friend on the phone or internet, read a book, take a nap, have a minicure, anything to pamper and relax and fortify yourself, recharge your batteries so you can keep going.
My prayers are for some easy and enjoyable days ahead, pleasant times together building some lasting wonderful memories. Let me know if I can help in any way.
