Wednesday Roll Call

Hello everyone

It's hump day!!!  In a couple of days it will be my favorite day of the week.

My daughter called me up yesterday to tell me that she already bought my birthday present!!!  My birthday is in June...so I asked her why is she buying this so early???  She told me that with the wedding so close to my birthday she might be to stressed out to think about what she wanted to buy me and she said there was a really good sale on this item she bought me (she won't tell me what she bought me).  She is so good to me.  In the middle of her wedding planning she thinks of my birthday.  It's times like this I wish I would win the lottery so I can give her the nicest wedding.

My neighbor doesn't seem to be home from jail yet or she's home and she hasn't picked up her car from the police...or maybe she can't pick up her car.  I don't know.  I am such a nosy neighbor...I need to get a life...hahaha.

Today I have a business lunch with my boss again and I am sure she will take me to McDonald's again.  Now that I don't eat that stuff any more it just seems so greasy and it upsets my stomach.  I felt really bloated too.  Maybe I can suggest Wendy's and I can get some chili.  I have heard people say their chili is good.

Dawn- I hope you are holding up OK.  I have been thinking about you.

Nancy-  It's so good to see you post something.  I hope you are doing better with the pain.

We are half way there everyone. Hope you week is going good and if not then hope it gets better.

Easter is just around the corner and I have so much S__t to get done. Happy Passover to my Jewish friends also. Hope you have a wonderful holiday season.

We are going out to buy our recliner love seat sectional tonight as we got a call that there is a 25% off sale and then we have a zoning board meeting tonight for a new theater that wants to build in town. We love this theater group and are going to support them.

Crystal, I think that you were asking (recently) about recovery time for surgery of Nancy's type - it is long and hard. My nephew had spinal surgery in Nov 2009 and it took him close to 6 months to feel normal again. He still struggles daily with some pain and it will be with him the rest of his life. One of my sisters had 2 spinal surgeries and she was in discomfort for a long time afterwards. These types of surgery are something I hope never to go through.

Your neighbor might not be able to P/U her car due to administrative tow fees and/or she might not have insurance and it cannot be released until she proves that she has it. We have tow fees and there usually is a line at my window on a Monday morning to pay the fees. In addition to that they have to pay the tow bill. DUI's are 'spensive and I have not even got to the lawyer and circuit clerk fees yet. Makes your head spin but they keep me employed.

PS - I was wondering if anyone could figure out why that girl yesterday that posted the ? about UIC (and she had posts on the main board) deactivated? I am nosy about why she deactivated.

It is so cold again, I NEED SPRING!!!!!!

I am at work, waiting for my first client of the day. Yesterday was busy too. I am just waiting nowto see if everyone comes in to work this morning

I just HAD to chuckle a second ago......the ad at the top of this page was for "DUI ARREST?  Call *********"  Are the ads on OH starting to mimic the content???  Sorry, I thought it was funny!

Thank you all so much for the thoughts, prayers and kind words.  I feel better today and know that my aunt lived a long, full life and it was time for her to go "home".

I have not heard the final plans for the funeral, but I told my boss I would be off for the next two days.  I will need it and I deserve it.

It was great seeing a post from Nancy and I really am thankful for her kind words.  I hope you are not in too much pain and are home?

I hope Spring decides to make an appearance, but I am starting to doubt.  Oh well, can't control the weather.

Today was not my most favorite day.  My hubby has been gone a week to visit his dad.  Up until this am, my two kids were getting along great.  Well, that all came to an end this morning.  Of course it happens when I am in the shower and am unable to see what happened. 
At work, I was not feeling well at all.  I ended calling out for tomorrow.  I am just so tired.  Here it is 8:30 and I am yawning.  I am ready for bed and feel like I could sleep for hours.  I am looking forward to being home tomorrow alone and quiet.
