Good morning,

Busy day today.  I'm on conference calls all day!  I had to work a bunch yesterday to get caught up.  But I did get on the treadmill at least. 

Had a really bad dream last night.  I woke up with a terrible headache and freaked out!  I took some tyenol and it's getting better.  Not the way I want to start the week!

Hello everyone

I am so annoyed this morning.  My normal route back and forth to work has been closed temporarily because they are fixing something on the rail road tracks.  So for two weeks now I have been detoured, going out of my way to work (not good with gass prices).  Well the end of the detour was Friday.  I am on my normal way to work today and it's still closed!!!  I had to back up and go the other way!!!  Way to go train people...you were supposed to be done three days ago.  I hope they get fined for this....Grrrrr 

I hate the first day back after a three day weekend.  I feel like I get lazier when I get a day off instead of more rested???Hmmm???

I wonder what's going on with Nancy.  Does it normally take this long to recover from back surgery???  I hope she's doing OK.

Good morning Illinois!

I spent the weekend in Libertyville with my aunt (82), who is dying.  This is the Aunt that took me in when my mother died (I was 7).  I got home last night after 11.  Very tired and sad today.  She is in Hospice/Comfort Care in the hospital.  It seems to me that there should be a better way.  I KNOW that she does not want to be in this condition......mostly unable to talk and move.......sleeping most of the time.....with everyone standing around staring at her wating for something to happen...........

It is what it is.

So sorry to hear about your aunt.  Especially someone that took care of you.  Hang in there.

I am very sorry to hear about your Aunt (your second mom).  Take comfort in the fact she will be surrounded by those that love her most when she passes.  It's a good way to leave this world.

I am sure that is why I am particularly bothered today....I can't be there, I need to be at work.  It is a terrible conundrum.....while there we could not do much, while not there, I want to be there......

Dawn, I am so sorry to hear about your aunt.  I can only imagine what you are feeling.  Wrap yourself in all the positvie memories of her during this time. My prayers will be with you during this time.

So I have to ask... "WHAT IS WITH THE SNOW?!!" this morning?  What a wake up!  I knew we were to have had snow, but never figured it would stick!  My dogs loved it.
I did not wake up early enough to work out before school and with the snow and wind there was no way I was going to ride my bike.  It seems like Thursday may be the only day I can ride!!  I wanted to ride two days this week, but the forcast is calling for rain.    Oh well, i will just get my jiggly back end into the gym.

Not much going on in my backyard.  Sent my taxes off today.  Figured since the government felt I still owed them money, they could wait till the latest possible date.

I did mine at 4pm today...I didn't owe I got $300 back...I just procrastinate when it comes to anything accounting!!!!
