Good morning/day Illinois!  So good to see Nancy on the board and to give us an update. Welcome home, Nancy!

Well, today is the start of my weekend. I am going to the Jewelry, Fashion and Accessory show in Rosemont. I have never been to it before but was told by my hair dresser that there will be things for me to buy for making my necklaces. The show is free if you preregister but the parking fees are supposed to be high, whatever.

What is going on in your world today?

Good morning cyber friends,
Christine, the show sounds like fun.  I wish I was going!!!   Oh well, I need to go to work.  The good news..... I have about 35 days till summer vacation!!!
My hubby landed safely in Tucson last night.  His parents had a hard time recognizing him as my husband has lost about 110lbs.  I wish I could have seen their faces.  My husband will be seeing my parents this weekend, so I know my mom will call me and tell me her thoughts.

Last night while waiting for my daughter to finish at drama I went to Walmart to try on some clothes.  I have always thought that Walmart clothing ran small and last night confirmed it.  I tried on some size 16/18 shirts - which I wear all the time- and they were tight.!!  Of course a 2x there was a 20 - a 5x is a 26/28!  Wow talk about making a person feel worse!!
I will be taking myself to Macy's and JCPenny's this weekend to see if I can find goodies on sale.

Nancy - it was so good to see you on the boards.  I hope you continue to only feel better.

Well, friends, have a good day.  I am off on my day 2 bike ride to work!!

Debbie

I never noticed that about Walmart clothes...but then again I only buy my workout clothes there...my sweat pants and tops.  I love the sweat pants there.  But I guess they are stretchy and more forgiving so they fit.  That's good to know because I was looking at some capris that I saw there and might buy.  I guess I will need to try them on first.

Hello

Ahhh...today is my Friday and I am so happy.  This will only be the second day I have taken off this year (the other being the blizzard)...I am looking forward to my mini shopping spree tomorrow.  I have so much to do tomorrow.  I am going to get as much done as possible so I can I won't have so much to do onSaturday.

I know I have probably said this before but some of the people at the gym I see lifting weights clearly do not know how...which is not good because you can injure yourself.  When I first started I bought books and asked questions to make sure I am doing it right...I mean why spend the time doing it if your doing it all wrong.  Sometimes I just want to go up to people and say "you are doing it wrong".....hahaha but I would never do that.

I'm glad to hear from Nancy but sad to hear she is in so much pain.  Nancy, I hope your eases very soon.

Well better get back to work.  See ya later

Good Morning,

Christine, let us know about the show today. Maybe we can plan on joining you next year, since I am always looking for beads ans such for blacelets, and yarn for scarfs.

I thought I was the only one who thought that Walmart clothes were cut small. Glad someone else confirmed it.

I think  I am turning into my mother. She would clean and run errands on Friday, come h or high water, and I am finding I am doing the same.

Off to work, then home to watch a movie on Netflix.

Have a great day,

Hugs, LISA

Lisa, the show was fantastic. There are vendors with beads, strands of beads, findings, bales, lengths of chain, earring makings (sorry do not know all the jewelry making terms), charms, pendants, clasps you name it. In addition to that there is a lot of already made costume jewelry, purses, wallets, perfumes, jewelry display items, used and estate jewelry, clothing, costume items for the hair or other accessories for clothing. There aren;t any textiles like yarns. There also are a handful of non jewelry like vendors like the Tribune, vacuum, socks and mitten/gloves, food dips, on the stove grill. Those sorts of things that you sometimes see at a fair in the commercial buildings. here is the link for the show. They will be in Schaumburg from June 3-5 for the same show and then back in Rosemont for a craft show in July. http://www.jfashow.com/

Morning!

I went and got my nails and toes done last night:)  It was a wonderful treat!

I'm glad to be back at work, but I'm getting a little overwhelmed with all the work.  The Milwaukee open is going to take up a lot more time that orgianally planned.  But I really do love openings so it should be a little fun!

Did I  tell you guys my husband broke our treadmill?  The part is covered and they are shipping it to us, but they won't cover the service.  So either my husband has to fix it (which will be very funny since he is not handy at all) or we pay to get it fixed.  And my husband is still out of work so I'm not big on that option either!

I haven't been sleeping well the last three nights.  Today I woke up with a headache.  I will take some drugs but man, I wish I could sleep better!

Time to get ready.  I have to go to Madison today for a meeting.  So much to do!

Take care,

Jules

Good moring Chris and the rest of Ilinois!

I have been so busy lately that I haven't had time to post.  Glad to hear from Nancy and I hope her pain is now under control.  I can't imagine!

Working today then "brush up" at the theater tonight.  Olivia is going to train to be a lighting apprentice so all three of us are going.  Todd will handle the Scouts.  David's last three shows start tomorrow night then strike and the cast party on Sunday!  Our lives will be so boring come Monday!

I'm very excited!  I put the first 1/4 payment on LIv's camp and got her flights!  It is really happening!

I took her to the ear specialist the other day and one of the tubes that was put in last summer has already been ejected.  We will now have to keep an eye on this ear and the doctor also had some advise about flying and snorkeling.  I had not even thought about her ears and how they might be affected by those things!

That show sounds very interesting.  Please let us know how it is.  I would be interested in checking it out, maybe next year.

Everyone have a splendid day!

Tell someone that you love them!
