Dave Update

Yesterday when I could not find a parking place at ABMC I should have known that would be an indication of the day. Dave arrived in the Day Surgery area on time anyways dispite that. Dave was called in for all the pre stuff that they do, Dr Rantis came in and marked him then we got the bad news. He had an emergency bowel perferation and had to do that at St Alexius in Hoffman Est. (we thought it was at ABMC) Well, 3.5 hours later we got word that he was closing and on his way back. I was given a gift certificate to eat or go to the gift shop and I chose food as I do not need any more trinkets.

He was finally taken in at about 6:30 and they started surgery at 6:40 and he was out in 45 minutes. We finally got home at about 10:30. I took today off and am happy for that because I am tired. The best part of the day is that Dave is all fixed up, not in too much pain and he slept in his own bed. The other neat thing is that I sold 4 necklaces while there and have orders for more.

Happy to hear that everything worked out in the end. Hope Dave has a very speedy recovery!

Sorry about the whole ordeal...at least Dave wasn't the one with the bowel perferation...yikes.  I'm glad you are both home and resting and this will be the last of the surgeries for a long, long time!!! 

Tell Dave Hi.  Glad everything worked out....sorry it was so late.  Take care of yourself and relax today.  Congrats on the neckalce sales!

Thanks for sharing the information. At least he didn't have to spend the night.

Glad to hear he is well!  And I fully understand that parking situation.  It's awful!!!!!!
