Monday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I am hating being back at work. I really enjoyed the wonderful weather we had this weekend. I really had to hunt around for some clothes to wear. I will be going on my shopping spree Friday. I asked for Friday off just now. I have a million things to get done that day so I asked for the day off.
I was just talking to a girl at work...she is always asking me for diet and exercise tips. She is over weight and is looking to lose weight. Of course she keeps saying she will workout and never does. Then she buys into theses diet fads. She is drinking Slim Fast and I tried to tell her eat a balanced breakfast rich in protein it's better than one of those diet shakes...she wouldn't hear of it. Ughhh...it's like beating my head against the wall. I mean if the Slim Fast didn't help you lose weight the first dozen times you tried it then it won't work again. I suggested she go see a nutritionist (our insurance covers it) and she won't go. Oh well you know the saying "you can lead a horse to water...." I say if she doesn't want to listen to my "tips" then she should stop asking. I stopped short of saying "if what you are doing is working so well then why are you still over weight"...But I would never say that to her.
Christine- I hope Dave has a speedy recovery.

I went to Goodwill yesterday. I bought 6 things and only paid $23! Love it! A couple things are a little tight still, but they are all 16! I was a 22 pants so I'm pretty excited! Crystal, you were right, very nice and organized. It was really crowded. I probably won't go back on a weekend if I can help it!
The vac is off. I'm having so many problems with it. So today when the nurse comes, we will be going to a silver dressing. I have no idea what that means, but it has to be better than having that stupid vac on!
Christine-you will be getting your Dunkin right on the strip in the Dells. That's the new one going in and opening Memorial Day:) Good luck to Dave today!
Anyone hear from Nancy yet?
I'm off to Meno Falls WI today to talk to the new Dunkin there about their training plan. Hopefully I can convince them I know this and they will follow my plan:)
Went for another bike ride yesterday. It was a lot harder yesterday for some reason. Going to get on the treadmill now.

Christine and Dave, You are in my thoughts this morning.
Crystal, you are right, you can telll someone over and over again, but, you can't make them do it. Try a different approach the next time she asks you something. Tell her since she thinks she knows so much, then you shouldn't have to give her tips on weight loss, maybe she should give her tips. Hopefully she realizes you know what you are talking about.
I haven't heard anything about Nancy, hopefully she checks in.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!
A quick one for me as I am working and very busy.
The weekend of opening was a success! Liv's show got better each night and David's was well received also. I got lots and lots of compliments about how good he is at this. This is only his second time on stage and the first time he auditioned he was cast in the lead! Pretty cool!
I must work today and try to get Liv signed up for her summer camp at lunch.

Good evening cyber friends,
Just a quick hello before i go to bed. My big accomplisment for today is that I was successful in riding my bike to and from work. I am debating whether or not about riding tomorrow. I will have to see how my legs feel in the morning.
