Plastic Surgery - Northwestern Residency Program

Hello All,

Has anyone here had surgery using the residency program at Northwestern?  I had one recommendation, but wanted to know if anyone else could share their experience with me.  I met with Dr. Lee in Chicago and had a great experience meeting him and his staff.  I have an appointment with the residency program in two weeks.  I'm looking to get my bat wings fixed.

Any feedback?

Thank you!

Dr. Lee is awesome. He did my extended TT and brachioplasty last June. You can see my pix on my profile. I feel great and I like my results very much.

One true story, though. It's a long surgery. Dr. Lee, in keeping with Northwestern's mission as a teaching hospital, does use a resident to assist. You can really tell which side Dr. Lee worked on and which side the resident did. The cuts are much cleaner on "his" side. If I had only residents working on me, I would take a pass.

I hope this link works:

There is more info earlier in my blog about the process and my recovery.

Feel free to PM me to ask me any questions you like about my experieence with Dr. Lee.
