Saturday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I am enjoying my breakfast with an episode of Law & Order (of course).

Today I plan getting my eyebrows and upper lip waxed.  I will then run over to Meijer and then Walgreens.  I do have most of my house work done already and I have laundry to do today.  Then after wards I am done for the day.

Yesterday, I was waiting in line at Chipotle (my weekly treat) and I was noticing a number of over weight people.  Watching them made me remember how uncomfortable it is to be so obese.  I was watching one person try to squish themselves into a booth or the woman standing in line that eventually got uncomfortable because she was standing so long.  It made me realize I don't have those problems anymore.  Or the people you see walking around in the store some of them in pain from the weight they're lugging around.
Anyway...I have been doing that more lately.  I seem to zero in on an over weight person (usually a woman) and I just think about how my life was at 354 lbs.  I watch them to remind myself to never get complacent.  I don't want to ever regain my weight .  I felt like I was in a prison made of fat!!!

I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday.

Good Morning Crystal.

I never felt that way, because I never admitted to myself I was that heavy.
(330). I knew I was, but I never thought of myself as fat, just overweight. But I too look at people different now, as well as how much they are eating.

We are off to a memorial service for a friend that died in November. She wanted her service on her anniversary. Then we are meeting the kids for an early birthday celebration in Joliet at Dell Rhea Chicken Basket . I love when we all get together.

It will be a nice day, Life is Good.

Stay safe,

Hugs,
LISA

Oh Lisa it wasn't a matter of admitting it to myself... I just knew I couldn't keep up with what I used to do...and I was only 37!!!  I was so exhausted just from performing the bare minimum  of every day activities.  Like I remember getting out of breath and tired from scraping the windows on my car...ugh!!!  I felt like I was 70 years old.

Good afternoon,

Let's see if this works this time.  Yesterday my post was under someone else's name.  Very odd!

I have been busy today!  Took one kids bike in to get fixed, bought a new one for the other kid, target shopping, took the other kid for yogurt for good grades, laundry, grocery shopping, cleaned all three bathrooms and now will get on the treadmill before making dinner!  I'm exhausted already!  But tomorrow is my last day before going back to work so I'm going to take it easy!

I do the same thing when out-I people watch.  At the yogurt place, there were these women in front of me that probably weighed what I did.  They loaded their bowls up and filled it up with toppings that were the unhealthy ones (chocolate candies, cookies, etc).  And they kept saying how good it was for them since it was yogurt.  I used to be there!  I'm not judging them, just looking at how I was.

Ok, off to the treadmill.  UGH!  :)

Take care,

Jules
