Sunday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I am doing my usual weekend morning routine...I am eating breakfast and watching Law & Order. That's what I call a perfectly relaxing morning.
I tried on my thrift store finds yesterday and was shocked to find they weren't as small as I thought thay would be (I purposely bought smaller sizes) I fit in to all the pants but one pair and one pair fits me perfectly...they are size 16's!!!
OK...I have to ask you guys about a problem I am having. Well since losing so much weight my formally big blubbery stomach is turing into flabby, droppy skin. Well the problem is between the skin folds. The skin is starting to get irritated. It's been happening for awhile now but it's getting worse. Last night I nearly scrached myslef till I bled. When I realized what I was doing I stopped. I am taking extra precations to make sure the folds are clean and dry...and I'm using cortizone for the itching. Is there anything I could be doing??? I can bring this up to the doctor on my next appointment but that's at the end of the month, but I don't want to go in special just for this.
I got all of my errands and house work done yesterday so I am free to do whatever I want today. What are you guys up to today?

My boys had a couple friends spend the night last night so I got up early and made them all a big breakfast....hash browns, eggs, sausage, bacon, toast. They are all between 12-15 so they eat a lot! But good kids so I don't mind cooking.
I'm going to get on the treadmill today. It's too cold to walk outside. I'm such a baby when it comes to cold weather.
Crystal-a friend of mine had the gastric and he had the same problem with the skin. He was told to document and take pics, and use the stuff you are using. He was able to get a tummy tuck paid for by his insurance because of the skin irritation. Don't know if you want to go that route, but if you do, document!!!!!!! I'm not far enough out to have that issue yet, but I'm sure I will. Good for you that you got into those "small" clothes you bought already! Plus the comments from the guy at the gym yesterday-you have to be feeling pretty darn good right now!!!!!!!!
We are going to meet a friend for drinks (Rob and Kev will have a beer and I will drink my water like a good girl) at the Village Pub in Schaumburg tonight. He is the best man from our wedding and he hasn't seen me since my surgery. Let's see if he notices my weight loss......he probably won't as he is a guy!
Nothing else really going on today. I might re-organize my pantry and refrigerator. I go back to work in a week so I should do some spring cleaning!
Nancy-good news on the new surgery date!!!!!!! Congrats!

I am heading to Yorkville in a few, going to help with the cleanup at the youngest daughters' house.
Nothing else is happening today. Try to spend some time in the sun, even if it is a bit cold. Spring will come someday.

For me, today will be busy. I am getting ready to head out the door to Wally World to do my weekly shopping. Rick is coming over mid afternoon. I need to hopefully finish my taxes.
I must be allergic to them this year. I have NEVER put them off like I have this year. Why, I dont know.
