Hello everyone

What a beautiful day it was yesterday.  Although, I didn't see much of it...just knowing it was nice out was all I needed.  I have my green sweater on today. 

One of the skinny girls at work yesterday ate McDonald's for breakfast and pizza for lunch.  It's so unfair.  Why does she get to eat all of that yummy stuff and not get fat???  I guess I am obsessing over what other people are eating.  And you know I find that I eat healthier than most people here. 

I am glad the week is almost over.  I have several errands to run tomorrow after work and working out.  I have several great coupons for JCPenneys...1 is $10 off a purchase of $10 or more, the second is $10 off a purchase $25 or more and I also have 20% off coupon.  I have no Spring/Summer clothes that fit me right now.  So now i have tons of shopping to do.  I have to get capris and short sleeve tops...and I have to have them for work and casual.  I'm sure next Fall it will start all over again with sweaters...some of the sweaters I bought last Fall are too big now.   

Lisa- I just love that it's daylight when I leave at 6:30pm from my workout.  And your client sounds completely clueless...when have we ever had St Patricks day off???

Lucy- Wow!!  You are completely Irish today!!!  I just wore a green sweater and figured that was good enough...maybe next year I will go all out.

I just got some "new" capri's and shorts at Goodwill on Sunday.  I gave away every single pair I had because most of them were 6 sizes to big.  I am hoping it is warm enough on Saturday to wear the capri's.

I even got rave reviews from my docs at the hospital!

I think this was the best I dressed for the holiday. Now I am looking for a shamrock bracelet that lights up. I have a shamrock bracelet now but no lights!

Good morning Christine and the rest of Illinois!

I am working and have my green fleece and fuzzy green socks on today.  I made the corned beef and cabbage for Tuesday's lunch here at work.  We wound up feeding only 15 people so there are lots of left overs.  We are making Ruebens today.  My family at home does not like any of this stuff, so I do it at work.

Todd is hoping to have the first fire of the season on Saturday if the rain stays away.  That will be a full moon to boot!  Oh well, we love to have neighborhood get togethers and miss them in the winter.

I agree that St. Patrick's day is usually the "turn the corner" into Spring.  Let's hope so!

I hope to get out and walk at lunch.  For the past 3 days I have not even had a chance to step outside the building because I have been so busy.  Today, I plan to try very hard to get out.

That full moon was beautiful driving in from Michigan City early this morning! Just like a big pizza pie.

Good Morning.

Corned beef is in the crock pot and ready to go for dinner tonight.  Today is my Friday.  I took tomorrow off.  Morgan has 1/2 day of school tomorow and then starts spring break next week. 

It was so nice last night when I got home that we were outside playing string ball before I started dinner.  Maybe, when I get home tonight I can go for short walk.  However, I do not get off until 7 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Another beautiful day today!  I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy it!  I ended up with an unexpected day off today due to my lack of coordination last night.  

I had gotten up to go to get more to drink about 11 pm and I fell and really cracked my head against the corner of an end table.  I also have a very nice rug burn on my knee and leg as well.  Nothing like being coordinated!  Well, then I was afraid of a concussion so I stayed up another 2 1/2 hours to be sure that I was ok.  I have a lovely headache today and a nice swollen area on the side of my head today.  I can barely touch it!  I am thankful that I am hard headed.  

I hope to find out more about my surgery soon.  I chased down the nurse yesterday and then talked to their insurance person.  I think I FINALLY got it through their heads that IF the doctor will schedule a peer review then I can get approval fast rather than submitting papers, waiting for a response, submitting more papers, waiting again and repeating.  She told me she would schedule a time for the doctor to do a peer review on Friday and then hand the doctor the phone when it was time.  I hope that works!    If he does keep the apointment, then he can talk out his differences with the insurance company.  He is holding out for making the incision from the back instead of the front.  We have the approval on everything else.  Sigh.
