Monday Roll Call
Hello everyone
This morning was a hectic one for me. I have an alarm clock in my bedroom that is SUPPOSED to automatically change the time for me. It did fine in the Fall. Well this morning I didn't notice that it was still an hour off untill I got ready and then went into the living room to turn on the news and noticed the time difference. Then I realized my fancy-shmancy clock never changed!!!! I should have double checked yesterday.
Ughh!!! and my hair is full of static!!! It's driving me nuts sticking to my face. This is going to be a long Monday.
I didn't even leave the house yesterday. I relaxed and relaxed. It was very nice.
I hope everyone has a nice day. See ya later.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinios!
David and I had a great time in the city! We spent Friday and Saturday nights at our frined's apartment and saw the river dyed and the parade. I thought we were going to freeze solid at the parade! We almost did not make it, but finally the crowd closed in and made it bearable. Our hands were still frozen, but it was fun.
Then, we went to an AWESOME Chinese place and had a nice dinner. David and our friend were very hungry because they ate just about everything on the table! I had 1 Mu Shu and the rest were brought home to be enjoyed yesterday. It made me think about how much I used to eat. What sucks is that I no longer eat those massive quantities, but I am still fat (obese according to the BMI chart). I have to keep reminding myself that I am better off that I was but I wish I could be closer to "normal". Hell, I would accept "overweight".
Now, back to my busy life....working and running kids to rehearsals. I have been appointed "House Manager" for David's show and I have not real idea what that entails........
Everyone have a lovely day and enjoy the sunshine!

I know what you mean. When I reach 198 I will be officially overweight...but I won't be normal till I get to 164 (it's sad that I know this by heart). I'm still obese too....at least I'm obese for 20 more pounds. I would like to get to 164...but if I make it to 175 I will be happy. 175 would be wonderful.
Crystal, I had just the opposite problem. When I put my jammies on to lounge around Saturday night I moved my alarm clock in my bedroom ahead one hour. Went to bed at 10:30 Saturday time and checked the alarm time when I got in the bedroom. Yup, fine it was 11:30. Move to Sunday morning. Roxie started making her time to go out noises. I looked at my alarm clock radio and it said "7:15" and I thought MAN I didn't think it would be THIS dark. As I walked out to get Rox, I looked at my grandfather clock which I hadn't changed yet....it said 5:15. WHAT? How did that happen? Turned on my cell phone just to check. Yup....5:15.
Went back in the bedroom and yup, my clock said 7:15. I decided that I moved my clock forward an hour and then my clock AUTOMATICALLY moved it forward another hour! LOL. I forgot it did that! Anyway, I was glad to get another hour sleep AND to know it won't be THAT dark at 7: AM!!! LOL

Evening Everyone!
Crystal, I can relate to the clock. I have 3 of those animals and the only one that automatically changed was the one in the office. Did I check the one in my bedroom? Nooooo, I thought, it will change by itself. Well I was waiting for the alarm to go off this morning I wondered what was taking it so long as I awoke about 15 minutes before it went off. That is when I discovered that it did not update itself. Sigh. Georgie, I did not change it because I was afraid I would end up like you did -- 2 hours ahead. Cant win!
Work today was interesting. I had really unusual questions and challenges. Not the run of the mill things. It kept me on my toes today.
Crystal and Lisa and Dawn, I agree, it is sad to have weight loss surgery and still be obese. And yet by definition, my surgery was a success.
I am glad to have the extra daylight tonight. That is really nice for a change.
Hope everyone has a great week!

Crystal,Lisa,Dawn and Nancy, I here you fully. I did reach 175 for about a day! Then a tenth of a pound here and there. Then with the last 2 years of stress, I am back up to 211. At 5 ft tall I'll be obese forever! When I was down with the hip I had hit 220 but I am now walking a lot and slowly and I do mean slowly it is coming back off. Some days I think I need a fill and then bam I will go days when everything gets stuck, wi**** would just hit that so called sweet spot and make my brain say wow we are working together! I do go up to see Dr Rosen in April. Maybe with his smarts and my willpower to succeed we will work it out! I just hope the gas prices do not go up much between now and then!
I do read the post but I have been very busy lately, I inherited a 3 month old little baby boy for a month while mom had to go out of town for training at her job! He's so adorable but a handful...I wish we had a like button like on face book..I could like your post and keep going! LOL
Well have a good week, I'll check back later in the week!
Enjoy our great week-end weather coming!
