Sunday Roll Call

Hello everyone

I am sooo glad I planned on doing those before and after pictures.  It's something I really needed.  I have been feeling fat the last couple of days.  do you guys ever have those days?  You know logically you are losing weight but for whatever reason you feel bloated and fat.  That is what I have been feeling the last few days.  I tend to cheat when I feel this way...then I feel fatter for eating so much.  So I think I will do things like this when I feel like this.

Yesterday I got my haircut at JCPenney and I really liked the cut and the lady doing my hair.  And the price was reasonable.  It cost $24 but since I already made my next appointment I will get $10 off my next haircut.  So from now on it will only cost me $14...as long as I make my next appointment when I pay for my haircut.

I have nothing planned today.  All of my house work is done too.  So it's a nice relaxing day for me...yeah!!!

I hope everyone has a great day.  See ya later.

Good Morning Crystal and Illinois,

No plans for today, just the normal laundry and getting ready for the work week.

We went to Bloomington yesterday afternoon  to celebrate the SIL birthday. It was nice, until I started getting sick to my stomach. Needless to say, we quickly departed. By the time I got home, I was fine.

That was a great hair deal.I try to go to the Beauty School in LaSalle on Wed. They have a $4.00 deal.

I made a new casserole for dinner today. I will post the recipe in another post.

if you didn't push the clocks ahead last night or this morning, you are late. Do so now. The only thing I dislike about DST,  is I have to get up in the dark, and leave for work before the sun is fully up.

Have a great, safe, warm day.

Hugs,
LISA

Crystal, I was walking down the aisle at the local resale shop and the pillar had mirrors on it. I did not realize it was me  in the mirror and told the "person" excuss me. I did not realize I was the smaller person in the mirror as I still thought I was 260# as I was at one point pre op.

I have several loads of wash done already, been to the grocery store and now need to clean the upstairs bathroom.

Corned beef dinner for us today! I make mine in the crock pot but out in the garage so it does not stink up the house, LOL

I am glad yesterday that I checked the one beading store in Glen Ellyn to see if they were in fact open today - the voice mail said they are closed until Mar 18th and then the hours are iffy beyond that to be open. This economy stinks! I found another store a little down the road from there in Downers Grove that is open according to their website and phone message but I am going to call before I go out so I do not waste gas and $$$$.

Afternoon Everyone!

I have spent the weekend semi relaxing and the rest of the time going around in circles chasing my tail if I had one!

Friday I had a nice relaxing day and went grocery shopping late afternoon.  Got home only to discover that they had not put all my bags in my cart and also did not help me out with my groceries!    I managed to hurt my back more putting my groceries in my car.  I did not discover the missing groceries until I got home.  I called Walmart and they did not have them ..... so they sent them home with someone else.

Yesterday my back really hurt and did not do much of anything.  Finally went back to Walmart late afternoon to get my money back and reshop for all the things they left out of my cart.  Got home and put those away and collapsed with the back still killing me.

The back still really hurts today but I am finally getting to laundry.  It has to be done.  The taxes are not done again.  Sigh.   Thanks Wal Mart.  I hate you already!  It just gives me more reason to hate you.  I just wish they were not so cheap because I cant afford to shop elsewhere.  But I did notice yesterday that they had really raised their prices on cat food.

Lisa, your recipe sounds yummy,  Crystal, you look wonderful.  Just keep looking at yourself in the mirror and saying "yes this is me"  Christine, I hope you find a craft place open.

Everyone have a great day!

Nancy,

I just had the same thing happen at Wal-mart.  They put my purchases on top but did not give the bag that had the meat in it.  I called Wal-mart and spoke to the Customer Service Supervisor.  She said no problem they would either refund my money or I can get the same item.  She said "I was in the book" and took down my name.  She also said I could come back at my convience to take care of it.  Since I was having the steak for dinner I had to go back out there and take care of it right away.  That was the inconvience of it.

Hello everyone,

We have all the kids here today.  Love it when they all are here and getting along.  The youngest is almost 5 and the oldest is 14.  They all get along well.

Not doing much besides hanging with the kids.  Making grilled bbq chicken tenders for dinner.  Something we all will eat:)

Not a busy week planned.  Only two more weeks and I go back to work.  UGH!  I'm kind of liking this off thing!

Ok, off ot swing the little guy!

Have a good night!

Just got back from Goodwill and am so excited!  I got jeans, shorts, capri's, and 1 dress.  I gave away all my shorts (every single pair of them) because they were all 5 sizes to big on me.  I only have 2 pair but at least now if the weather ever warms up enough I have a pair to wear.  If we donated $50.00 to March of Dimes during the month of March and April we can wear jeans everyday to work.  I only have 1 pair that fits so I really needed to get another pair.

We are having steaks and left overs from yesterdays bday party for dinner tonight.  Morgan is being a bottomless pit today for food.  Every 5 mins she is asking for a snack or something significant to eat. She is a good snacker though.  She does eat a lot of veggies and fruit.

Gonna get my jammie pants back on and just lounge around the house for the rest of the day.  Not planning on doing anything else except maybe a load of laundry.

Happy Sunday all,
Hope today has found you all well.  Ok, I have a groan joke for you all...
Why did the cannibals child get expelled from school?..............  He was caught buttering up the teacher!!     Pastor Todd at church told this joke this morning.  I thought it was cute.
So, today was spent doing laundry, cleaning up the backyard from the dogs and more costume adjustments for my girl.  The week before a play is always so hecktic.
Right now I am finally getting dinner cooked.  We are having baked chicken, baked potatoes and broccoli w/ cheese.  This week I had raw broccoli for the first time since my surgery.  Oh boy did it taste good.  I ate it in small bites and not a single issue.  I am so excited!!  I miss my raw veggies.  Slowly but surely.
I hope all have a great evening and a fantastic week!!
