Good Morning Everyone.

Just a reminder, Push that clock ahead by 1 hour tonight. It will give us more daylight at the end of our day. The downside is it will be darker in the morning for a while.

The new cable, internet (with wifi) and phone are in. It only took the tech. 2.5 hours. Hubert then decided we needed a new phone for the kitcgen, since the old one didn't have caller ID. Of course, the one we had was put in when we moved into this house.

I have a few things to do today, then we are off to Bloomington when Hubert gets home.

Morning Lisa and all of IL.

I have a few things to attend to here in the house and then I can lounge, maybe. I am sure that that extra time I find will be filled with an unexpected project.

We are not leaving the house today but for church and tomorrow we are going to go out to a Trader Joe's and a jewelry making store in Glen Ellyn. They are right close to each other - within 3/4 of a mile.

That is it for me in a nut shell.

Hello everyone

I had a nice day yesterday.  I left work early because my daughter was only going to be in town for the day (they left at 9pm).  We had a nice afternoon.  It was so nice we went for a nice long walk. 

There's this girl at work that is so skinny...I started to notice what she ate and she eats a lot of crap and carbs.  She drinks a lot of soda.  I see her with Mcdonalds for lunch with a Shamrock Shake.  She eats out of the vending machine all of the time.  I know she doesn't exercise because she always remarks about how she should start exercising too.  It boggles my mind that she can eat all of these calories and do no exercise and stay so skinny...but me and I'm sure the rest of us...if we had these habits we would gain a ton of weight.  No wonder skinny people shake their heads and wonder why we can't lose weight.  I have better eating habits than most people at work..pay attention next week to how some of your skinny co-workers, friends or family eat compared to you.
        It's just not fair!!! (I stamp my foot on the ground like a bratty kid).  

Well today I am going to get my hair cut and I'm going to Walmart and Goodwill.   Then home to do laundry and clean house.
