Tuesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
Well I forgot to set my alarm last night and I woke up at 6:03...I should have been at work 3 minutes ago!!! I'm got ready super fast and was out the door and in my car by 6:15!!! I got to work by 6:46. It was nice to drive in the sunlight...but the traffic is terrible. Oh well I got an hour of extra sleep this morning.
Last night I read two interesting things in my book. Continuing on the subject from yesterday....researchers removed the female sex organs from a rat (ya gross, I know) the rat got fat. So the female hormones do regulate weight and it's hard to maintain after menopause. The next was they bred two sets of rats. The first set was bread to be obese...the second the set was bred to be lean. Then they put the obese rats in a situation where they got very little food. The rats did lose fat but only after the their bodies started to attack their organs for fuel. So the rats bred for obesity protected the fat before their organs....interesting. The rats bread for being lean were put in a situation where they force fed 3 times or more food than normal. The researchers had trouble fattening up these rats. There is proof that people that are the same way. If you are meant to be fat...we have to practically starve ourselves to be thin. That's why all diets failed us and we had to turn to surgery. Because no normal person can live off the amounts off food we feed ourselves to be thin!!! There is so much in this book. I am thinking about stopping and rereading what I have already read. I want to hi-light some of the more interesting passages.

I hate when I am late in the morning.....it throws the whole day off for me. The facts are interesting, keep it up!
I am keeping Lucy's sister in my thoughts and sending healing energy her way. Hopefully she will turn the corner soon.
I am working then taking David to rehearsal. I may attend the Board Meeting while he rehearses.
That's about as exciting as it gets for me today.

Morning!
I am watching the cats chase each other around the house. They are funny to watch. They haven't eaten each other-just a few spats but nothing serious. We decided to change Barley's name before he got used to it. It was the name the shelter gave him and we just didn't like it. So its now Charlie. He goes to the vet this morning to make sure he is in good health and doesn't have any issues to pass onto Jack.
I got a lead today for Scentsy. Someone would like to have a party. Which is good since I haven't booked any for this month yet! If you are interested, let me know!
So the vet is the only thing I have to do today. Easy day today!

Good Morning, oops, afternoon,
I am at work also, actually got here 10 min. early today.Before I left home I even got a load of laundry in the wash, and the dishwasher started. Hopefully, Hubert will switch the load into the dryer and put the dishes away when he gets home.
No plans for tonight. Just relax after a fast day here at work.
I also hope Lucy's sister gets better.

I am thinking of poor Alexander and his Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. I think I will join him in a move to Australia.
If you have never read this book go find your nearest 8 year old and borrow the book. It is a hoot. I just had one of those days where every call was a difficult call and I am ready to go to Australia.
If one more person called with a problem, I might have left the building screaming lol.
I am almost at normal now and went online to read my paper and the Chicago Tribune is showing todays paper as Monday's. Sigh.
Jules, I am glad the kitties are getting along. I have changed the names of all my cats who came from the shelter except for Claude and for some reason, that fits him.

Nothing much happeing here.
I'm meeting some friends for dinner tonight. There will be 4 of us. It was funny, it's so hard to get people together. I sent an email out yesterday on the spur of the moemnt and everyone could come. We were all surprised!
