Sunday Roll Call
Good morning Janet and the rest of Illinois!
Janet, all I can do is send very BIG HUGS to you and let you know that I think you are an awesome woman. I feel for you and your situation. I have great faith in the doctors at UW, so I know that Eddie is in the best of hands. Remember to take care of yourself too, and that could also mean checking in here for support from us.
I am stopping by in the middle of another whirlwind weekend. Yesterday, I took Liv in to work at the museum while the boys distributed "Scouting for Food" bags. Then, we were gone from 2 pm until 10:30 pm.....doing a college visit (Rasmussen....any opinions?), dinner, then took Liv to a play in Belvidere and tried to keep busy while she was there for over 2 hours.
Today, we are deep frying a turkey that has thawed for lack of freezer room. Todd will take care of the fying, but I will do the sides. I am on my way to chop veggies here in a minute. Once all veggies are chopped, we need to shower and get ready to head to the theater. David has rehearsal from 2-6 and Liv and I should attend the middle school play to show that I am still connected to that program and to show support for "my" kids there.
After all that talk last week about overtime, I just told my boss that my 40 hours would be up at 2:30 on Firday and what should I do? He told me to stay, so he WILL be paying overtime. I am glad because I really was uncomfortable with the other option. He would NEVER understand that comp time would have to be figured at time and a half, and I did not want to argue with him about it.
So, the sun is shining and it seems to be a beautiful day! Everyone enjoy!

Good morning Janet, thanks for the update on Eddie. My prayers are with the two of you as you go in for surgery on Wedn.
I have been up and about for several hours. We have been out to bfast again and then stopped into the grocery store right in the same shopping center. I am making a sauteed chicken, onion and mushroom dinner later on this afternoon but before that this house needs major attention. I have two loads of laundry done already. I need to fix a couple of necklaces and finish two others for my order on the East Coast.

Hello Janet and Everyone!
Janet, it is so good to hear from you again! It sounds as if you have your hands more than full. You have been on my mind recently so it is really good hearing from you!
My thoughts and prayers will be with you and Eddie this week as he has his surgery. What a challenging surgery. I am surprised with his willingness to go ahead with the surgery. I know at one point he did nto want it. I pray all goes well. I am sure that both of you have many concerns over this surgery. I hope for the best. Please keep us posted and take care of yourself as well. If you need anything, please let us know.
For me, I am enjoying a lazy weekend. I know, what else is new?
Yesterday I got lost on the Allrecipes.com looking at new crockpot recipes. I think I found a few winners. I want some more ideas to have for dinners that are easy and little preparation in the mornings. I found some yummy brisket recipes but now cant find a brisket. 
Today I am paying bills and I need to get started on my taxes. Ugh! It is that time of the year. I should get those done before surgery.
Also time to start thinking about this coming week. Have a great rest of the weekend!

Thanks for asking. I still do not have a rescheduled date. Hopefully Monday I will find out more but I am not holding my breath. I would like to get the date on my calendar but the surgeon would like to get one part of the approval changed so I think we are at a standstill until he and the insurance company talk. Hopefully that will be soon. Thanks for asking.
