Hi Georgie!

Thanks for the well wishes for my sis. She is still in the same bad shape. Yesterday she spent the entire day in radiology. I called her later and she was crying so much. She is ready to give up the fight and doesn't care anymore. It's just too much for her. Oh why does it have to happen to good people?

I still love your pic with Roxie - so cute!

Sounds like you have a fun weekend planned.

Hugs,
Lucy

Hey there!

Well, the cats are doing a lot better.  We let (or my husband did) Barley out to roam and Jack just started following him around.  Jack hissed a little bit but all they did was run around.  Barley has a little bit of the runs, so I heard him pass some gas and back he went into his room.  We take him in for a check up tomorrow so if he is all clean, we will open up the house more to him (when we are home of course).

I lost another pound since Saturday.  I am down 54 pounds.  But what amazed me, I have lost 21.5 inches all around!  Seven of those is in my tummy area and 5 in the hips.  Sadly, 5 inches in my chest too

The nurse was here this morning and my wound is getting a little smaller.  We are down to 3.8 centimeters in depth.  It's slow but no infection and looks really healthy!  I had a sub nurse come on Saturday.  She didn't do anything wrong-but she filled the wound differently with the sponge and it stuck to the incision so it hurt like ()&&%^&%$@! when my normal nurse took it out today.  The drugs didn't help me there at all!

Devin is now done with wrestling.  He lost his last match on Saturday which means he doesn't get to go to state.  He was sobbing after.  This is his last year in the feeder club before high school and he really wanted state this year.  My heart broke for him.  I just hugged him for a long time and told him how proud I was of him.

Lucy-I hope your sister gets better soon.  Being in the hospital is never any fun!

Randy-I haven't chatted with you much but come visit more here!  I know I feel better checking in and helps keep me motivated!

Lisa-good for you for doing nothing!  Sometimes we all need days like that!  And who called in sick?

Debbie-I knew it was some kind of holiday but couldn't remember.  Enjoy the day!

Georgie-cinn rolls sound really good!

Crystal-I don't want friday to get here.  I may have to go back to work next week so I need to enjoy this week while I can!

Dawn-Love the st pat's parade.  I may take my boys as they are done wrestling now.

Ok, enough blabbling for me today!  How can I upload a pic to this spot?  I want to show you Jack and Barley!

Congrats on your weight loss! Hope your wound heals up quickly. I'm sure that it is bothersome to you.

Thanks for the well wishes for my sis. She is still in the same shape and wants to give up the fight. I don't know what to say or do for me anymore. It's so hard to see her in that shape. We still don't have any answers from the doc. This has been going on for over a week now.

Hopefully we will get some answers today.

Thanks and take care!
Lucy

 Evening Everyone!

I am half in a fog today.  Went to bed too late and then woke up coughing for almost an hour so not enough sleep for me last night.  Hopefully, I will get to bed early tonight.  I did have plenty of sleep over the weekend so that is good.

Work was busy today.  It started out slow and then went crazy.  I have to admit that I am ready for a break.  It was frustrating today because no one seemed to be listening.  They would ask a question, you would give them the answere and they would repeat the question 2 or 3 times more!  Ack!  LISTEN folks!

Crystal, I am with you in wishing my life away.  I live for the weekends and then they go by too fast.

Lisa, I hope you were not the sole person in the office today.  That gets mighty old.

Dawn, I hope you are finding time to catch your breath.

Randy, good to see you again.  Keep on coming back!

Georgie, I love pets and their personalities.  They can be too funny!

Jules I am glad that the cats are at least talking to each other.  It sounds like they are getting a good start!

Debbie, your summer travels sound wonderful!  Enjoy!

Lucy, I am sorry your sister is having such a rough go.  I hope she feels better soon.

I heard from the surgeons office today.  He is going to appeal the incision approach on my insurance and wont schedule until that is settled.  Ugh!

I hope everyone has a great evening!

Hi Nancy. Good to hear from you.

I was so busy all day at work yesterday and then when I got home - too pooped for anything.

My sis is still in  bad shape and talks about giving up the fight. SHe was crying on the phone but didn't want to talk. She was so exhausted from being in radiology all day. She has another test today. I sure pray that we get some answers from the doc today. It's been over a week now that she has been doing so poorly.

I pray that you get your appeal though and finally get to have your surgery. I know that I would be beside myself after getting everything done and ready to have surgery and then a no go!

Take care my friend!

Hugs,
Lucy

Not too busy of a day at the ole IPD. I have been busy since I got home and have made 3 necklaces to complete the big order for the east coast and have pulled out of my reserves a few to send to my sister in IN for her to sell. I am venturing out and learning how to crimp and add jump rings to the hardware. I have come across some fantastic glass pendants and have made myself a few necklaces and am working on others for my stock pile.

Have a great night everyone!
