Wednesday Roll Call
Hello everyone
I am getting antsy for this Winter to be over with already. I would love to be able to find a job in Champaign, because I am planning to find a place with a yard. I am dreaming about having a wonderful garden this year. BUT...I need a job in Champaign first!!!!
I had a great workout yesterday. I was on a weight machine for my legs and some lady from work I don't know very well made a comment about me being a "muscle lady"...because of the weight I was lifting
Ya that's me...hahaha
I am looking forward to this weekend because I think I will actually rest, instead of cleaning and organizing. I even cleaned my car last weekend...I was in a cleaning frenzy.

It is Wednesday, 1/2 the way to the weekend
I just got a call from my co-worker that she isn't coming in today. Again.. I would love to know how these gals think they can take off all the time and pay thier bills. Our company is 99 % parttime, so no benefits like sick pay.
Crystal, I hope you can find that job in Champaign. It is a nice city.
Heres hoping everyone has an uneventful day at work.

Good morning Crystal, Lisa and IL friends!
My sister landed up back at Alexian Brothers on Monday night with a possible bowel obstruction. Yesterday I went to visit her. Looks like a post-op ileus. She has been throwing up, nauseated all the time and of course, in pain. She can't keep any fluids down. They started her on IV fluids and she was supposed to have a PIC line inserted and then get some nutrition in her.
In the ED they tried to pass a nasogastric tube down into her stomach. She couldn't tolerate that at all. They tried twice! I feel so bad for her. She always has the worst of luck in anything she does. I tried calling her this morning, and no answer. I bet she is having tests.
I've been keeping up with my workouts and everything. Sometimes, I too want to take it easy. But I have a goal in mind and I will get there this year!
Crystal - good luck in finding a new job in Champaign.

Evening folks. I have been a little scarce as there are issues at work that I will not go into. I rcvd a call from the State right before I was to leave today (I needed to leave 4 a hair appt) and I knew that the call was going to take awhile!) I got out of there pretty fast because I knew where the caller was taking me and I could remember the techie side of it for tomorrow.
I am busy, busy, busy. I am very rapidly making necklaces and selling them. I am also in the process of putting together an open house for home direct sales (Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Jewelry (myself included to showcase my wares), looking into a candle person and any other direct sales option I can think of). I have a couple of local craft shows that I am going to - like this weekend in St Charles at the Expo Center. I am going to be at Itasca Fest Flea Market where a booth is cheap for one day. This way I can see if there is an interest and I can go forth. I am also looking into launching my own web page. I will let everyone know as to the date of my home event.

Hello all,
I saw Dr Kane today. My wound seems to be healing, slowing, but healing! Very good news. My wound vac stopped working this morning so by the time I saw Dr Kane, the wound was leaking and gross! It was already replaced today.
Tomorrow I am going with my sister to her long chemo day. She is battling stage 3 inflamatory breast cancer and before my surgery I would take her. I feel bad that I have missed going with her.
That's about it. I'm really tired today. Slept poorly last night and had to get up early for our appt today. Another early morning tomorrow to drive to WI to spend the day with my sister.
