Monday Roll Call
Good Morning. This is the last day of Feb. We have gotten through the worst 2 months of the year. Now, hopfully, we are on the road to spring.
Spent the whole day yesterday doing nothing. I will admitt, it felt wonderful. I di some cooking, but that was it. Oh, I went out and filled the bird fillers, so our feathered friends could get something to eat.
Today, it is back to work.
Hubert is back to work also. It was so nice to wake up to a quiet house, no TV blaring.

It's a bit icy up here - streets are slick.
Today I have my appointment with Dr. Guske. It should go well.
My sister came home yesterday. She's been having a hard time post-op. I helped her change her drain dressing. She is so swollen all over.
I, too am so glad March is almost here. I've had enough of this winter.

Hello everyone
I'm at work now. The road were fine but my parking lot, stairs, walkway and car were covered in ice. It didn't take much time to scrape my windows. I have the deicer spray I use. It's very nice.
Well I didn't rest much this weekend. I don't know what got into me but I just tackled one project after another. My closets are nicely cleaned out now. Every thing is organized and threw out everything that I didn't need. I guess I want to make sure when the time comes I can easily pack my stuff and move to Champaign....if that ever happens. I didn't use my slow cooker yet because stupid me forgot to take out the meat. Oh well.
I also ordered 2 spring/ summer tops. I have to make an educated guess as to how much weight I will lose and what size I think I will be. I ordered two sizes smaller than I am now.
Well have a great day (even if it is Monday)...see ya later.

I had a very busy, but fun, weekend. The play was very funny and dinner was wonderful on Saturday. Last night, I made fish tacos and they were not too bad.
Tonight, both kids have rehearsals in different towns and Liv also has her first softball practice. Here comes the busy season. Glad that Spring is almost here.....it will make all that driving easier.

Good Evening Everyone
I had a nice, noneventful return to work. I got on my computer with no problems and that was a relief. Work was at a steady pace today. It did pick up as the day went on so I have a feeling that some people got to go home early.
It was icy here this morning. I hate walking on that stuff. Just slick enough that one false move and down you go. It was not deep, just a glaze but still ...
I talked to my surgeons office tonight. We are in the process of getting surgery re set up. They had a couple of questions on the approval so I called the insurance company. It seems like everything is in order so we can move forward.
Dawn, how do you go two directions at the same time? I want to know your secret. I always have sworn that I was going to come back as a clone when I died but hmmmm maybe I could do it now.
Lisa, I hope Hubert had a noneventful day back as well. Crystal, cant wait to hear about this new slow cooker and how well it works. Lucy, glad that all is going well with you.
