Sunday Roll Call

GOOD MORNING ILLINOIS! One more day to the weekend. Well, the roads last night going to Bartlett were dicey. On the way home they were better.

I have somemore house chores to do today like dusting and vacuuming and then I can sit down and crochet. What is happening in your corner of IL?

Hello everyone

Well my day yesterday was one of running errands, house work and tackling projects around the house I have been wanting to do for a long time.  Like I finally went trough my file cabinet.  I had old utility bills in there from years ago...from back when I would send in a check to pay my bills. Well I don't do that anymore.  I pay all my bills online.  If I want to veiw an old bill or see an old payment I can see it online.  I also had owners manuals of TVs, irons, microwave...that I don't even own any more....hahaha.  I got rid of it all.  What I had left fit in a small drawer....so I threw out the old filing cabinet.  I now have more room in my closet. 

Then last night I ran out and bought a new programmable slow cooker.  I saw Jules's post on OH about the one at JCPenneys for $20 and I had a coupon...the coupon expired yesterday so I ran there at 8pm to get it.  I'm very excited to try it out.  Hopefully now my meals will come out better.

So I worked so hard yesterday there really isn't anything for me to do today.  So I will do nothing.

It's grocery shopping then heading up to Peru for my mother-in-laws bday today. 

Not much more going on, having a fried egg for breakfast while "surfing" the net.

Good Morning Illinois,

I have already started a roast in the crockpot. Thats about all I want to do today. Like everyone else, I want a day to do nothing

Back to a full workweek tomorrow. We don't have a schuluded day off until Mermorial Day. I do have a couple of days I need to take off, but that isn't until late April.

 Afternoon Everyone!

I slept in this morning then headed to Wally World for my weekly shopping.  After I got home and got the groceries put away, I cleaned out my entry hall closet.  It really needed it and had been bugging me.  Now I am allowing myself time to relax and snoop on the computer.  

It is back to work for me tomorrow.  Now I wait to hear from the surgeon's office.  

Nothing else happening in my corner of the world.
